Cats aren't for the weak
Went out to buy some fruit… the guy charged me 70 birr for the green case thing 😂😂.
He whispered: “Festal is illegal in Ethiopia, bro…”
I didn't even argue.
I swear, I almost cried while paying.

hitting Ghost File / Nextjs stale build on deployment for first time
the deployment is showing error on a non-existing file (been there before like 200 commits)
am rm -rf ing shit hopping it fixes this madness

I haven’t built many projects in my life.
But one thing I finally understand:
Building something you actually want to use hits different.
That one app that fills a gap in your own life
is more powerful than wrecking your brain
trying to build something that might get “many users.”
So I’m curving my plans.
I’m building for me first.
If it solves my problem deeply enough,
it will probably solve someone else’s too.
Build for usefulness.
Not for vanity metrics.

i wish all mobile app frameworks had an app like "expo go" from react native,
no usb, no emulator, no browser
just scan qr and can access the app freely

Starting today, I’m committing to solving 2–3 LeetCode problems every day.
Not for interviews. Not for job hunting.
Just for knowledge.
I want to sharpen my problem-solving skills, think deeper about data structures & algorithms, and become a better engineer overall.
The fact that i couldn't solve a problem with the language of my choice is not good

I built a YT Audio Player for Devs — “Studio”
If you’re like me, you listen to YouTube lo-fi while coding.
Some of us:
• Keep 10 browser tabs open
• Or play it from our phone
• Or fight YouTube background restrictions
So I built Studio — a React Native app that plays YouTube audio cleanly in the background while you code.
The backend uses yt-dlp + Express to fetch audio streams.
Now here’s the fun part 😅
When I deployed the API… YouTube said:
“bot detected.”
Since I’m not paying for expensive rotating proxies, I decided to keep it local-first for now. Dev life.
If you’re curious or want to run it locally:
App:
https://github.com/Natnsis/Studio
API:
https://github.com/Natnsis/studio-api
If you find it useful, star it ⭐️
If you improve it, PR it.
