#BREAKING: The Atlanta City Council votes yes 11-4 to fund the 'Cop City' urban warfare training center, despite over 12 hours of overwhelmingly opposed public comment & recent reporting finding the reported $33.5M cost was less than half of the true cost - closer to $67M.

the panama canal is a skilift for ships that depends on inland lakes for water to boost them over the mountain of land so it isn't working now that there's drought, despite the oceans still being there.

I don't want plastic in the ocean. I don't want satellites in the sky. I don't want cameras in my birdfeeder. I don't want this bogus idea of life they're selling.

Food for 50.pdf

Food for 50. Cook for 50 people.
A hurricane tears through town—power's out. FEMA is taking its sweet time. A group establishes a hub outside of the flood zone. Cooking large dinners together has given everyone the confidence to operate at scale. Teams move out to gather food in a lawless environment, fighting off racist opportunists who cling to an order of property which has been revoked. One gathers medical supplies from hospitals and pharmacies while another opens up water tanks in apartment buildings. A park occupation brings even more people and resources together. Someone scales a building to place a router powered by kinetic energy. The router establishes a connection with a mesh network to call in reinforcements from other hubs across the territory.

Last year, we lost a beloved friend, Jessica Green. She was a weaver, a leader, a mother, a lover, and a revolutionary. For a long time our grief was too much for us to share. Please consider our hiatus as a moment of silence for her.
