Fauci Says If You Aren’t “Up-to-Date” on Your COVID-19 mRNA Injections, You’re “Going to Get Into Trouble”

🇺🇸💉@COVID19Up: If you aren’t "up-to-date" on your COVID-19 mRNA vaccine and booster injections, Dr. Fauci has a stark warning for you: Get those doses now, or else prepare for a harsh fall and winter.

“If they don’t get vaccinated or they don’t get boosted, they’re going to get into trouble,” Fauci told a Los Angeles radio station on Tuesday (August 2).

That currently applies to at least 70% of Americans.

According to the Kaiser Family Foundation, 228 million Americans were under-vaccinated as of July 21, which means they hadn’t completed their primary COVID-19 vaccine series or hadn’t gotten their first booster injection.

Fauci called the country’s COVID-19 vaccine and booster rates “quite discouraging” and suggested one reason why it's failing: people don't think they don’t need the additional doses, because they fall outside of high-risk populations for COVID-19.

“People say, ‘Well the risk to me is low. So why get it?’”

If you aren’t worried about your own personal risk, do it for your “communal responsibility,” Fauci said.

However, the reason you should keep getting your mRNA booster injections, Fauci claimed, is that the longer SARS-CoV-2 circulates in under-vaccinated people, the more of a chance the virus has to mutate into a new variant that could threaten low-risk populations.

Does this mean that everyone will be considered "under-vaccinated" next month when the Omicron-specific mRNA booster injection campaign begins? 🤔

More Than 130 Coast Guard Members Sue the U.S. Government Over COVID-19 Vaccine Mandates

🇺🇸💉@COVID19Up: Over 130 U.S. Coast Guard members filed a class action lawsuit on July 25 challenging the constitutionality of the Biden administration’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate while also alleging the religious exemptions they filed in response to the requirement for military service members were unlawfully denied.

The number of plaintiffs exceeds 130 and will likely end up surpassing 200, according to Dale Saran, one of the attorneys representing the service members. Plaintiffs are either active-duty or reserve members of the Coast Guard, and all “have sincerely held religious beliefs that prohibit them from receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.”

The suit names four defendants: Alejandro Mayorkas, secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS); Linda L. Fagan, commandant of the Coast Guard; Lloyd Austin, secretary of the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and Dr. Janet Woodcock, acting commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
