Os protestantes veneram JP II mais do que os próprios católicos

Two days ago was the the Solemnity of the Annunciation.
You can’t have a child out of wedlock, that’s obvious - it’s basic morality, despite what the world is saying now. God couldn’t have a child while not being married, right? Because of that, He proposed to Mary.
We aren’t exactly sure what she was doing now. Weaving a new curtain to the Temple? Reading? Praying? She was absorbed in the task, but she stopped, almost blinded by a ray of heavenly light - in her little room, there was a beautiful young man, clothed in a glowing tunic, a lily in his hand. This was Gabriel, God’s messenger. Gabriel told Mary that she was going to bear the Son of God, the Messiah, inside her, right under her own heart. Prophets have been talking to Gabriel before, shocked by his light, falling on their faces in veneration. Mary, though, didn’t - she spoke with him as an equal, maybe even slightly higher than him? She was, after all, going to be the Mother of God’s Son. She said yes to the proposal, and in an instant a ray of light came down from heaven, touching Her Heart; She has concieved the one, who in 9 months will be called Christ.
God’s truly amazing, isn’t he? He chose a humble girl from the middle of nowhere to be the mother of His Son. He made her sinless, completely pure, and He gave Her His own Son to give birth to and raise.
