Apple’s Vision gets a split: Pro for pros, Lite for the rest of us

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is now working on two separate Vision models — a high-end Vision Pro for professionals and a lighter, more affordable consumer version.
The Pro will feature a more powerful chip and wired Mac connectivity for ultra-low latency — perfect for surgeries and flight simulations. Meanwhile, the cheaper model will be slimmer, simpler, and friendlier on your wallet.

The exact launch timeline is unclear. A minor Vision Pro 2 is supposedly already in production and may drop between fall 2025 and spring 2026 — unless Apple’s new strategy shifts things.
Endgame? AR glasses you can wear all day without looking like a cyborg. But yeah… we’re not quite there yet.
