Thing of the day: $10K holographic monitor — sci-fi vibes unlocked

Looking Glass just unveiled a 27" Light Field Display that shows true 3D holograms — no glasses, no AR headset, just full-on depth when viewed from any angle.
It supports Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, and works with both desktop and mobile (HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort included). Perfect for designers, doctors, and anyone with a fat tech budget.
Caveat: it doesn’t rotate — so pick your setup (landscape or portrait) wisely.

Bottom line: basically Iron Man’s screen, minus Tony. 🔬🖥️

Universal just announced HIM — a sports horror from Jordan Peele

Yup, you read that right: sports + horror + Jordan Peele — and it’s officially happening. HIM will be directed by Justin Tipping, and it’s dropping on September 19, 2025.
No plot details yet, but knowing Peele, expect something creepy, layered, and probably full of squeaky gym floor anxiety.

Bottom line: if they’re running, it’s not for the win. 👟🩸

Bill Gates says AI will replace doctors & teachers by 2035 — and it’ll be free

Welcome to the “Age of Free Intelligence,” as Gates calls it — a future where expert advice becomes cheap, fast, and available to everyone. The rare genius doctor or brilliant teacher? AI’s got it covered.
By 2035, Gates predicts AI will take over healthcare and education — not just basic stuff, but elite-level medical and learning support. Instant diagnoses, personalized tutoring — all on demand.
He admits the speed of change is “deep and a little scary,” but believes this will make life smarter and way more affordable.
Bottom line: AI used to solve math problems — now it’s solving people. 🧬🤖

Tactical Star Wars? EA drops debut trailer for Zero Company — XCOM meets Clone Wars

Electronic Arts has officially revealed Star Wars: Zero Company — a turn-based tactical strategy set during the Clone Wars, made by the team behind XCOM.
You’ll lead a squad of mercenaries in a secret conflict, handling every move, cover, and shot like a galactic chess match. With Bit Reactor and Respawn at the helm, this one’s looking sharp.
Launches in 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Bottom line: forget lightsabers — it’s time for brain-blasters. 🧠🚀

Pavel Durov went barefoot and silent — with goats and purpose 🌿🐐

In a new photoshoot, Durov appears dressed in white, surrounded by nature and goats, channeling a peaceful, almost prophetic vibe. No caption, no promo — just energy.
The imagery speaks more than any words: a leader who’s clearly saying something without saying anything at all.

Bottom line: when you're not just a founder — you're a symbol. Durov plays his own game. 📲🧘‍♂️

Marvel brings back Swimsuit Special — yes, superheroes in swimsuits are back 🏝️📚

After 30 years, Marvel is reviving the iconic (and kinda infamous) Swimsuit Special — a comic series featuring heroes and villains striking poses in beachwear. The new issue, Friends, Foes, Rivals, is fronted by The Wasp, who’s apparently running a full-on supermodel shoot.
Originally published in the ’90s, the series was all pin-up glam, barely-there plots, and lots of skin — loved by some, hated by others.
Launches July 9, and yep — swimsuit skins are also coming to Marvel Rivals (details TBA).

Bottom line: superpowered beach bodies are back — and still just as divisive. 🕶️🌊

China just held a human vs. robot half-marathon — fitness is officially broken

In Beijing, 21 humanoid robots ran a 21km race alongside actual humans. No wheels allowed — just awkward knees and dreams of domination.
Some bots wore sneakers, one had boxing shorts, and another rocked a red headband that literally said “Must Win.” One fell at the start and just laid there. Another slammed into a railing and took out its human operator. Peak athleticism.
Winner? A robot called Tiangong Ultra, finishing in 2h 40min. The human winner did it in 1:02, but who cares — this was all about flexing robot legs and battery life (which only needed 3 swaps).

Bottom line: robots run, robots crash, and you're still scrolling. Inspired yet? 🦿🏁

Lucy Gu — 30, rich AF, and just flexed past Taylor Swift on the billionaire board 💅💸

Co-founded Scale AI ($25B valuation), dipped, launched Passes — basically OnlyFans in a turtleneck. Bagged $40M in funding. Then boom — lawsuit over alleged underage NSFW content. Passes says it's BS.
Meanwhile Lucy’s living that FIRE life: frugal queen, invests in people not purses, and swears by your network is your net worth.

Bottom line: billion-dollar moves, courtroom drama, zero flexing. What have you done by 30? 🔥👀

Skullcandy x Bose drop Method 360 — $100 earbuds with punchy bass & style 🎶🖤

Budget buds? Kinda. 12mm drivers, bass that hits just right, and rumor has it Bose helped with the tuning — sounds suspiciously close to the pricier QuietComfort Ultra.
Noise canceling by Skullcandy (4 mics), auto-pause when you pull ‘em out, up to 11 hours battery (9 with ANC), plus fast charge: 10 mins = 2 more hours.
The case? Chunky, ribbed, and comes with a loop — stylish, but definitely not pocket-friendly. Comes in 5 colors, including leopard print.
Bottom line: solid sound, bold look, and the $100 price tag may not last. 🔊🐾
