The email urges you to resolve the issue quickly by clicking on a link, which leads to a fake login page. If you enter your credentials there, they’ll fall into the hands of scammers.

Apple ID is now called Apple Account in iOS 18 — scammers often use the outdated term. If you see "Apple ID," consider it suspicious.
The email creates a sense of urgency, pressuring you to “restore your account immediately.” This is a psychological trick to lower your guard.

Apple never sends such emails. Official messages only come from addresses ending in @email.apple.com.
