Jamie Foxx's co-star John Boyega has said 'no one has heard from' the actor ever since he was hospitalized for a “mystery medical emergency” in early April this year.

'No one has heard from Jamie,' Boyega told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere in Florida on Wednesday. 'I wanted him to show up here, but you know, I know he's dealing with what he's dealing with. I just wish him all the best.'

Saying that there has been some 'missed calls' from Boyega to Foxx, he added: 'I've been calling, I am just going to keep on calling.'

Foxx suffered a 'medical complication' April 11, according to his daughter, Corinne Foxx - and fans have been concerned for his wellbeing ever since.

“To date, only two studies have compared the incidence of myocardial injury in cohorts of patients with respiratory failure caused by Sars-CoV-2 and other agents. However, these studies had limitations, including smaller sample sizes of patients with COVID-19 and the use of historical controls. In the study conducted at the hospitals of the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System, the incidence of myocardial injury was found to be similar (around 50%) in patients with COVID-19 and non-COVID-19 pneumonia. The 2-fold increased hazard for mortality was no longer statistically significant after adjusting for covariates.”
