Spencer Harrison Curt Cornelis passed away unexpectedly at the age of 20.
Spencer was ambitious and a hard worker. In addition to being enrolled at the University of Western Ontario, he also recently received his real estate license. He enjoyed sports especially hockey and spent many hours on the rink and on the road heading to games all over southwest Ontario. Spencer also enjoyed swimming, shooting hoops, playing badminton and working out regularly at the gym.

When Sydney healthcare worker Melanie Leffler said goodnight, her loved ones had no idea it would be the last time they would speak to her.
The 39-year-old mother-of-two died in her sleep on November 19, just hours after she tested positive for COVID-19.
While Melanie’s cause of death is yet to be confirmed by a coroner’s report, her brother Kris Leffler says the family believes it was heart-related.
Leffler says his sister was fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with four doses and always took precautions to limit her exposure to the virus.

Friends and family of Patrick Torrey (22) are mourning the sudden death of the St. Ambrose University basketball player on Nov. 19, 2022.
At Ambrose, the 6-foot-8 center studied psychology and played basketball, “a sport that was near and dear to his heart.”
Torrey had played on the basketball team since coming to SAU in 2019. This year, he'd played in six games, starting in one, and averaged eight points and five rebounds a game.
There has been no cause of death released regarding Torrey.

Sergio Aguero was left shocked after finding out about the tragic death of Colombian midfielder Andres Balanta.
Balanta, 22, sadly lost his life when he collapsed during training for Argentine first division side Atletico Tucuman and 40 minutes of resuscitation failed to save him.
The Colombian had played for his country’s youth teams and had hopes of a future with the senior side after moving to Argentina in July.
Aguero was forced to retire from football aged 33 last year, soon after making his debut for Barcelona.
The City all-time top scorer experienced chest discomfort during a match against Alaves in October 2021 and was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, he later retired on medical advice.

Jackson Mohr, 13, was found unresponsive in bed by his parents the morning of April 19, 2021. He was rushed to Methodist Children's Hospital and placed on life support after CPR brought his pulse back, but he never regained consciousness. Jackson passed away three days later, a victim of what doctors described as Sudden Cardiac Death, the result of an undetected heart abnormality.
The tragic passing left his family and school in shock and mourning. As far as they knew, Jackson was completely healthy.
A member of the Texas Military Institute Corp of Cadets, Jackson was awarded Middle School Cadet of the Year shortly before his passing.
Jackson was particularly passionate about baseball, "I don't know if I can put it into words how amazing of a cadet he was, how amazing of a baseball player and young man he was," friend Aiden Notzon said. "He was a stellar person. I loved him."

Three participants suffered heart attacks and 125 others required medical assistance following the Behobia-San Sebastián half-marathon last week. 33 runners reportedly required hospitalization.
The race has a very rigorous route with two high points, Gaintxurizketa (4 miles) and Miracruz (10 miles).
Many news outlets have blamed the so-called “climate change” for the tragic events that occurred during this year’s marathon. The temperature was 78.8 degrees Fahrenheit during the event.
“In a test that had 30,000 participants, there were 3 cases of heart attacks and 125 medical attention, almost all due to heat strokes resulting from the unusual 26 degrees that were recorded during the race,” according to local news outlet El Español.
