✅✅ فرهنگ تماس تلفنی را تمرین کنیم.

۱. وقتی برای اولین بار با کسی تماس می گیریم، خوب است که ابتدا خودمان را کامل معرفی کنیم.

۲. وقتی با کسی تماس می گیریم و جواب نمی دهد، به او پیام بدهیم، خودمان را معرفی کنیم و بنویسیم در صورت امکان با ما تماس بگیرد.

۳. این روزها به دلایل مختلف امکان دارد شماره تماس ما در گوشی دیگران پاک شود، اگر زنگ می زنیم و طرف مقابل ما را نمی شناسد نگوییم: دیگه ما رو فراموش کردی! واقعا نشناختی!!!حدس بزن!!

۴. عمر شوخی هایی مثل «اگه گفتی من کی هستم؟!»، « نه! کمی بیشتر فکر کن ببین صدامو نمی شناسی و ...» به سرآمده، مردم در این روزگار کرونایی اعصاب و حوصله این چیستان ها را ندارند. سلام و علیک کنیم و خودمان را معرفی کنیم. خلاص!

۵. ما از وضعیت کاری، روحی و موقعیت طرف مقابل خبر نداریم، وقتی تماس می گیریم بعد از معرفی خودمان بپرسیم « الان امکان صحبت کردن را دارید یا نه؟» اگر گفت نه!.. درک کنیم و در یک موقعیت مناسب تماس بگیریم.

۶. اگر رانندگی می کنیم به تلفن پاسخ ندهیم. اگر متوجه شدیم کسی که آنطرف خط ماست رانندگی می کند یا عذرخواهی کرده و قطع کنیم یا تماس را بسیار کوتاه کنیم.

۷. اینکه شماره تلگرام کسی را داریم دلیل نمی شود هر پستی که می پسندیم را برایش ارسال کنیم. مخصوصا در این روزهای یکنواخت و بیمارگونه، در ارسال اخبار بد، تلخ و گزنده هم به شدت صرفه جویی کنیم. دلیلی ندارد حال دیگران را بد کنیم. از ارسال صبح بخیرهای کیلویی با عکس دسته گل و فنجان چای هم جداً خودداری کنیم. هیچ جذابیتی ندارد. دستکم برای بنده ندارد!

۸. اگر کسی در تلگرام آنلاین است یا در اینستاگرام پُست می گذارد دلیل نمی شود حتماً اگر آن لحظه تماس می گیریم وظیفه دارد پاسخ ما را بدهد و اگر ندهد یعنی برایمان ارزش قائل نیست.. نه!

۹. در تاکسی، اتوبوس، مترو یا جاهای عمومی تلفنی حرف نزنیم، اگر می زنیم داد نزنیم، اگر داد می زنیم فحش ندهیم، اگر فحش می دهیم ...!

۱۰. شب، زمان استراحت اکثر انسان هاست. تماس های «کاری» مان را در طول روز بگیریم. آن چند دقیقه را به خودمان و دیگران استراحت بدهیم.

جانل شِین، محقق هوش مصنوعی می گوید: «خطر هوش مصنوعی این نیست که قرار است علیه ما انقلاب کند، بلکه آن قرار است دقیقاً کاری را انجام دهد که ما می خواهیم.» به اشتراک گذاشتن شِین با نشان دادن جنبه های عجیب و گاه خطرناک الگوریتم های هوش مصنوعی مانند خلق مزه های جدید بستنی، یا شناسایی خودرو ها در جاده، به ما نشان می دهد که هوش مصنوعی فاصله زیادی با مغز واقعی انسان دارد.

You now have your final grades for all courses which I taught this term. I hope that you got the grade you deserved from your hard work, and that I was able to help you in some measure to achieve your goals. I do regret not being able to spend more time with you individually to help you because of the online limitations.

You have probably found some courses such as "Linear Control", "Signal&Systems", "Computer Programming", and "Engineerng Economics" to be challenging this term. There was a lot of work involved, and many new concepts introduced. I have tried to do this in the most straightforward way possible, but I am always open to your perspective, so please let me know your thoughts on what worked and what didn’t.

It is immensely rewarding for a teacher to have a vibrant group of students and I was fortunate this term in having some wonderful classes.
I always thank my students after my session is over for their attention, involvement, curiosity and discipline in the classroom and now for their patience in online classes.Thanks for the wonderful activities and sincere efforts.

Mahdi Tavakoli is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Alberta, Canada. He received his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from Ferdowsi University and K.N. Toosi University, Iran, in 1996 and 1999, respectively. He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, in 2005. In 2006, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Canadian Surgical Technologies and Advanced Robotics (CSTAR), Canada. In 2007-2008, he was an NSERC Post-Doctoral Fellow at Harvard University, USA. Dr. Tavakoli’s research interests broadly involve the areas of robotics and systems control. Specifically, his research focuses on haptics and teleoperation control, medical robotics, and image-guided surgery. Dr. Tavakoli is the lead author of Haptics for Teleoperated Surgical Robotic Systems (World Scientific, 2008).

Associate Professor Seyedali Mirjalili is the director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research and Optimization at Torrens University Australia. He is internationally recognized for his advances in Swarm Intelligence and Optimization, including the first set of algorithms from a synthetic intelligence standpoint – a radical departure from how natural systems are typically understood – and a systematic design framework to reliably benchmark, evaluate, and propose computationally cheap robust optimization algorithms. He has published over 200 publications with over 20,000 citations and an H-index of 50. As the most cited researcher in Robust Optimization, he is in the list of 1% highly-cited researchers and named as one of the most influential researchers by the world by Web of Science in 2019. Dr. Mirjalili is a senior member of IEEE and an associate editor of several leading AI journals.

Dr. Mohammad Noshad is a scientist, entrepreneur and technologist who has founded multiple companies in Silicon Valley and has served as a top executive and board member. He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering and is a researcher at Harvard University. He was one of the pioneers in introducing LiFi technology to the world. Dr. Noshad has received numerous awards for his work on free-space optical communications including IEEE Globecom award. He has served as the chair and committee member of various IEEE conferences and industrial.
