Injective Bridge V2 Release

The Injective Bridge V2 is here, bringing forth a wide array of upgrades and cross-chain compatibility for the entire DeFi ecosystem to interact with Cosmos and Ethereum.

The new Injective Bridge will be able to support any ERC20 token from Ethereum alongside a number of Cosmos IBC-enabled chains such as Cosmos, Terra and Osmosis. In the coming weeks, a number of new IBC-based chains are set to be included as well in order to further support the rapidly growing Cosmos IBC ecosystem.

The upgraded Injective Bridge will help to significantly improve the experience of users, traders and developers on Injective. As CosmWasm smart contracts are integrated in the coming months, the enhanced bridge user experience will serve as a perfect launchpad for new Web3 projects looking to deploy on Injective. Due to Injective’s robust infrastructure for DeFi, projects building within sectors such as trading, lending, savings, and insurance applications will find the bridge to be uniquely suited to fit their cross-chain use cases.

The Injective Bridge V2 has been highly optimized in order to ensure the best user experience. Anyone can now make transfers with a few easy clicks while all steps remain highly intuitive and transparent.

Injective has modified Ethereum and Cosmos support to allow for much more flexibility during the bridging process itself. Native Ethereum users can choose to interact with Injective via MetaMask and can currently make deposits for zero gas fees.
