I think working with go is better first in terms of shipping it is very easy to ship since you may not even need any part of the code except the binary. Second is speed it is very fast and another thing to mention here is that the go http server is natively concurrent so you do have to worry about it when trying to increase speed. The binary size is also very different node takes more than 100MB for just a hello world app and go just takes around 10MB so we are talking in more than 10X difference here so if you are trying to make your start there I recommend going with golang assuming you are going to be a backend dev since the frontend always requires js knowledge

I don know them in person just here on telegram and I am planning to meet them in person soon enough(I know chapi tho)

I think whether u are backend dev or fullstack it is essential to know the frontend stuff and things but if you are planning to build frameworks and other things I recommend you to go and focus on one specific thing and dig real deep that is the only thing that you should do since the problem is not working on frontend but rather it not going real deep

If you are talking about network in terms of tele and safari we are all suffering from those things. 😂

But if it is your circle instead of making it align with your goal dude go and join a circle that fits with your goal rather than trying to change their perspective

But this year I want to make it real and for that I need volunteers from the community who can help me organize the event since I am planning to make it online I don think it will take that much time.

You don need to have any prior experience or something like that even no need for knowing go just interested is what needed and even tho this is an event that is golang based it will include things that are industry wide not just limited to golang and it will make the Ethiopian developer community shine more
