💬 Vent #4
Hey everyone! 😊 I hope you’ve all enjoyed the previous Vents and stories. Now it’s my turn to share one of my most unforgettable memories at Campus.
Back then, I was a first-year student in my second semester. Honestly, I spent most of my time studying Applied Mathematics maybe a little too much sometimes 😅. I don’t know if I was being hardworking or just overthinking everything!
Anyway, one day during finals, I studied really hard and thought I was ready for the exam. But when the results came out… I couldn’t believe it I got an F in maths. 😭 It felt like my whole effort disappeared in a second. I was shocked, disappointed, and even questioned myself.
But after some time, I realized something important failure is also a teacher. It doesn’t mean I wasn’t smart; it just meant I had more to learn about how to study effectively and manage my stress.
Now when I look back, I don’t feel sad anymore. That experience taught me patience, humility, and resilience. Life at Campus is full of lessons not only from books but from our own mistakes and challenges.
To all students out there: don’t lose hope if you fail once. Learn from it, grow stronger, and move forward. Because we are all learning not just subjects, but life itself. 💪📘
In the end, I can truly say I learned a lot and got learned a lot from that experience.

💬 Vent #5
Hey everyone! 😊A while ago, I transferred from ASTU to Unity University. And honestly… the transition wasn’t easy at all. The students there felt different a bit closed off, not very welcoming, and it was hard for me to blend in. I tried to connect, tried to socialize, but it always felt like there was a wall between us. 😔
At the same time, I was trying to figure out my path. I’ve always wanted to become a software developer, but I wasn’t sure if I was even learning the right way. While others had classmates and groups to study with, I was mostly learning alone.
My study routine?
Just me, the Python documentation, and Tutorialspoint. 📚🐍
Sometimes I’d wonder, “Is this enough? Am I even doing it right?”
It felt lonely and confusing like walking through a fog with no guide.
But here’s the thing I’ve started to realize: everyone learns differently. Some people thrive in groups, others learn quietly on their own. At first, I thought my way was wrong just because it didn’t look like everyone else’s. But slowly, I began to understand that self-learning is actually a powerful skill it builds discipline, patience, and independence.
Even though the environment wasn’t comfortable and the social side was tough, my dream of becoming a developer didn’t fade. In fact, it pushed me to work even harder. Every line of code I write reminds me that progress is progress no matter how small, no matter how slow.
So to anyone out there feeling the same way struggling to fit in, doubting your learning style, or walking this journey alone please know this: your path is valid. Keep going. Keep learning. Keep believing in yourself. Because growth doesn’t always happen in the loudest rooms… sometimes it happens quietly, inside you.
In the end, I’m grateful for that phase. It taught me confidence, patience, and the courage to trust my own way of learning.
💬 What’s your advice for me?
Do you think my perspective is right? Or what would you do in my situation? I’d love to hear your comments and thoughts.
