Let’s Talk About AI and Our Community 🇪🇹🤖

Hey guys, I want to share something that’s been on my mind lately.

As a tech student, I’ve noticed that many people in our community only know about AI through things like photo and video generation — deepfakes, funny filters, or AI-generated faces. But AI is much more than that. And sadly, because of this limited understanding, a lot of confusion and even harm can happen.

Recently, I heard a heartbreaking story about a girl who was raped and badly injured(her name is keneni) and someone spread the false rumor that the image of her injuries was “AI-generated.” Even my own mother asked me if it was fake, because a friend told her it was AI. That’s dangerous and disrespectful.

We cannot let AI be misused like this or let misinformation spread unchecked.

So I’m calling on all of you — if you understand AI, even just a little — teach your parents, your siblings, your neighbors, your friends. Let’s raise awareness together. AI is powerful, but if we don’t educate ourselves and others, it can be misunderstood or misused.

🔹 Protect the truth.
