Installing Git

Git is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms, and the installation process varies slightly between them. Here’s how to install Git on each platform:

Windows

2-Run the installer and follow the instructions. It’s recommended to accept the default options unless you have specific needs.
3-Verify installation by opening the Command Prompt and typing git --version. You should see the installed version of Git.

1-Install via Homebrew (a package manager for macOS) by opening the Terminal and typing: brew install git

3-Verify installation by typing git --version in the Terminal.

Linux

1-Open your terminal.
