Day 10 of Leetcode.

DFS problem wasn’t easy. At first, I thought it was just a normal recursion problem but it turned out to be a bit challenging.

Okay, I want to take a moment to reflect on how I feel about the Yonas podcast.

I’m honestly so thankful I have this channel to reflect like this.(ታገሱኝ እረጅም ነው 🙄)

The podcast makes me think deeply and ask so many questions questions I don’t even have answers to yet.
Life.
Choice.
Freedom.
Money.
Happiness.
What are these things really for? Am I truly living my life? Am I following my heart, or just following what feels safe?

I’m really amazed by Yonas. ታሪክ አለው ። His decisions seem so fast and confident. He knows what he wants. When I make decisions, I usually think about money, comfort, and family before I think about my soul. I try to be careful. I try not to make mistakes. Most of my dreams are about financial stability and maybe even leaving my country one day.

I grew up with a very patriotic dad. He loves Ethiopia so deeply, so emotionally. His pride always amazed me. I used to feel that same strong love for my country. But as I’ve grown up, that pride has slowly faded, and I see many of us feel the same.
Sometimes I really miss the version of myself who felt so proud and connected.

Anyway… back to the podcast.

I love how he expresses himself as an artist.
When he said, “I am an artist. I fall in love harder, እኔ የ አርት ሰው ነኝ እንደምኝ ነው ማፈቅረው” (ትርጉም በ ሎዛ 😂) I felt that. And when he said, “Artists will never be happy,” that made me think even deeper. Is that true? Is there something about creativity that makes peace harder to find?

If you haven’t listened to it, I truly recommend it. And ማን ያውቃል maybe one day I’ll get the chance to sit and talk with Yonas myself.
Life is funny like that.

Solved the Balanced Binary Tree problem
honestly just to show up.

This week has been really exhausting, and today was such a long day. I’m hoping to be more productive over the weekend.
