🎙NEW PODCAST EPISODE

This quote certainly helps sum up this week's episode: "A problem well stated is a problem half solved." - Charles Kettering

Right now, I see a ton of people noticing all of the problems we have, and feeling overwhelmed by them, but not taking the time to understand the deeper meta-crisis' behind these issues.

This is a must.

We are in a time where complex systems are breaking down without our society, and yet we are looking at these problems with an overly simplistic and reductionist lens that is causing us to fail to recognize what the problems we face actually are.

Engaging the spirit of creating a set of solutions and societal design that is advantageous for all would be key. To do this it’s important we become aware of our bias, ideologies and adopt a more complex problem solving frame as the nature of our systems, humans and nature is all complex.

🥳 I'm excited to announce that the 5 Days of You Challenge is back!

If you feel you could use a bit of a "de-stress" and take some time to tune more deeply into yourself, then take notice of this free challenge. (Sign up details below.)

This challenge was birthed back in 2012 as I was wrapping up a feature documentary project that I was creatively ‘stuck’ on. I decided that trying to force my way through was not going to work.

So to solve my dilemma I challenged myself to embrace a few key concepts and practices around presence, embodiment and attunement to see where it took me.

Within a few days, creativity came rushing in and I ended up creating my most viewed and impactful film to date.

I enjoyed my results so much that I thought I would put them into a simple 5 day challenge and see if others had similar results.

So in 2013, I launched the very first 5 Days of You Challenge.

Over the course of the next 5 years, over 150,000 people took the challenge and the stories were inspiring to hear.

Starting Nov 28th, 2022 with a few upgrades, I offer the latest iteration of this classic challenge as we launch it again for free.

I invite you to explore yourself, your being, and gain clarity as we run another free 5 Days of You Challenge cohort.

Whether you are looking to de-stress a bit, slow down and get more in tune with yourself ,or gain a bit of insight and clarity from within, I believe this challenge can help.

Each day you will get a very short video and exercise/practice to play with throughout the day. This is not a demanding nor time consuming challenge, but a simple one that ca produce inspiring results.

What To Expect If You Join:

- Get a short video & exercise to complete each day
- Gain a deeper sense of yourself and surroundings
- Gain clarity on your felt sense, emotions, and thoughts
- Walk away with practical tools you can use for years to come
- Tip toe into the world of nervous system regulation
- It's free! Have fun and be curious as you explore it

"Under the materialist paradigm, there is no awareness after death. Period. This is because under the materialist paradigm, consciousness requires the brain to exist, since awareness is seen as merely a product of brain activity. Therefore, materialism firmly closes the door to any study of consciousness after death, pinching us off from a greater understanding of death beyond the physical process of dying. So in this limited view, all investigations and evidence for mediumship, visitations from deceased loved ones, near death experiences, and past life memories are void to begin with. As post-materialist scientists, it is our job to open that door."

"Perhaps ironically, one reality that leads me to oppose formal efforts to sanction lockdowners for their infliction of harm is a reality that plays a prominent role in my opposition to the lockdowns themselves – namely, political action is inherently untrustworthy. Summoning government today to penalize officials who imposed lockdowns is to call for action by the very same political institution, if not the same flesh-and-blood officials, that imposed the lockdowns."

A deep discussion about this recent analysis, with many points that are not being made clear by many who are sharing it around social media.

A new analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation has found that 58% of COVID-19 deaths in August in the United States occurred in people who had completed at least their primary serious of vaccines.

What's not really being emphasized is, according to the CDC, unvaccinated people are still dying from COVID at six times the rate of those who got at least the primary series of the vaccine...

That being said, vaccine injury data continues to be ignored, as well as the issues with what constitues a "COVID" death and a "positive" result.

A deeper discussion within the article.

The mind body connection is one of these health interventions. A study published in 2019 is one of many that has provided proof of just how impactful mindfulness interventions can be on human biology. It’s noscriptd “Loving-kindness meditation slows biological aging in novices: Evidence from a 12-week randomized controlled trial” and was published in the Journal Psychoneuroendocrinology.

The study suggests that loving-kindness meditation has a measurable positive impact at the cellular level. The study examined how different types of meditation influenced telomere length, which is an indicator of physiological aging.

Telomeres are the protective caps on the ends of the strands of DNA called chromosomes. With time they get shorter. For the most part, the more we age the shorter they get. Other environmental toxins, like smoking and unhealthy habits also contribute to the shortening of our telomeres. There are also a number of habits and substances that have been shown to slow down this process & even lengthen our telomeres, like fasting for example, which in essence means one is reversing the aging process.

An article published in the New York Times in 1902 describes how an "old burial ground has been discovered that has yielded skeletons of enormous size."

It's one of many examples throughout modern and ancient history where stories, evidence and information about giants has emerged.

The article goes on to describe two stones with “curious innoscriptions” and underneath were the bones of a body that “could not have been less than 12 feet in length.” According to the NY Times article, “the men who opened the grave say that the forearm was 4 feet long and that in a well-preserved jaw the lower teeth ranged from the size of a hickory nut to that of the largest walnut in size.” Apparently the chest of the body had a circumference of 7 feet.

"What would a climate lockdown look like? Well, if such an initiative were to take place, governments would limit or ban the consumption of many foods. They would ban or limit private-vehicle use, or limit the distance one can travel in a gas powered car or perhaps even by plane.

Working from home could eventually become the permanent norm if special carbon taxes are put in place. Such taxes could be imposed on companies, limiting driving or air miles, and extend to individual employees. Children could be impacted by climate lockdowns, too. Schools, especially those heavily influenced by teachers’ unions, could impose permanent online-only days.

Implementing significant restrictions like this, slowly but surely in the name of the collective common good, would allow the type of government control that would result in the littlest backlash as possible. This is what a collective alarmist level fear of climate change could lead to, especially given the tremendous growth of government control and power, which is fuelled by a significant amount of support for these types of actions."

This is worth another share for those who missed it. In a recent interview with German TV, senior editor at the British Medical Journal Dr. Peter Doshi expressed that that “Our legacy media has not done a good job in providing balanced coverage about the vaccines."
He emphasized how "we're not getting the information we need to make better choices and to have a more informed understanding of risk and benefit."

A fascinating story that corroborates with many others. Whether or not you believe it is up to you! That picture comes from the experiencer. It was taken in 1988. It's interesting because fast forward to today, and we now know military jets are scrambled to take a closer look at these objects, and these encounters have been happening for decades.

""Follow the science,” that pesky little meme, has followed us like a bad dream throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Those in favor of prolonged restrictions latch onto the phrase to justify their positions. Skeptics retort that science isn’t a completed edifice, a church where we gather to worship, but a constantly evolving body of knowledge.

Still others, like Drs. Marty Makary and Tracy Hoeg in a July 2022 guest article for Bari Weiss, point out that the slogan often serves as a cover for following the party line. They call out the FDA and CDC for making public health decisions based on “what’s politically palatable to people in Washington,” rather than good science."

"It’s been some time since I’ve found the motivation to blog given recent world events. These events have inevitably made me feel I have little to add to current human thought patterns. What can I possibly say that would make any sense, and what topic could be meaningful in light of events that are harming our human population as a whole? I have been rendered speechless for quite some time. Acts of violence on innocent people quickly drape a dark veil of helplessness amongst us. Eventually, I had to reframe my life in terms of events I had no control over and begin living in a new way, unclouded by random terror. Slowly, I found a way."
