HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY

Every year, March 8, is the International Women's Day and recognize the power, potential, and strength of the world's 3.8 billion women.
In the world, 774 million adults are illiterate, and two-thirds of them are women. There are also 132 million girls out of school who represent over half of the children not attending school. Despite international and local efforts to promote gender equality and girl's education, it seems that there is still a lot of work to be done. Educating a girl empowers her to change her life and escape from the cycle of inequality.
Unlocking women and girls' potential is only possible if we ensure free quality education for all women and girls but foremost the right to acquire literacy skills as education starts with the ability to read and write.

#StrongerTogether
The most important single concern in our society today is personal responsibility. Societal systems that encourage dependency destroy the capacity of individuals to their own goals. It is not possible for someone else to be responsible for others.

Societal structures that encourage dependence harm the very society itself. One of the pillars of a free and sane society is personal responsibility. In order to be productive, individuals must think for themselves, pursue their truths as they know them and their happiness . Independent thinkers who are innovative, creative, and personally responsible make human flourishing possible. Not pests!

If to say Malam Aminu Kano would be back now, whom do you think he will start fighting?
Present Politicians?
Political parties that lack ideology?
Past politicians whom he trained, groomed and exposed ?
The masses that can only value somebody with money bag?

Ubangiji Allah Ya Jikan Mallam Ya Gafarta Mashi Amin.

Buhari did not fail to deliver on his electoral promises because he was incompetent or because he decided to forget them, he failed because the promises where not realistic to start with. The promises were impossible to fulfil.

This is something we need to keep in mind as we listen to Politicians. How realistic are the things they promise? Is it doable? What is the opportunity cost? Does he understand the cost? Is he willing to pay that cost?
They say: "The Prove of Tinubu's superiority is that Lagos is richer than other states".

Me: But Lagos was always richer than other states. Lagos cannot be fairly compared to any other state in Nigeria. A fair comparison will be to other similarly sized regional capitals and financial centers, such as Cairo and Cape Town. What was the gap between Lagos and these cities in 1999? Have these gaps closed or have they widened even further?

Note that it took just 40 years for Shenzhen, which was a fishing village in China, to catch up with the global financial center that is Hong Kong. They narrowed the gap every year until they surpassed her.
