The problem is that ordinary citizens have become totally helpless. The result is that morality and Immorality have merged and Corrupt citizens have gradually Corrupted the paraphernalia of state craft. This loosening of the moral fabric numbs a society and produces not only a dialectal situation, but also some form of moral dissonance. Some of those who have became rich by Corrupt means find a moral basis for their corruption by Supporting religion. They Erect places of worship, they Sponsor pilgrimage and they make large donation in exchange!
I do not Imply that they should be discouraged from using their resources not to Sponsor pilgrimage, build mosques and churches and so on. No. I argue that both religious bodies and the beneficiaries of these seemingly noble action run the risk of mistaking criminal bargaining with GOD for SPIRITUALITY. When religious leaders turn a blind eye to the actions of certain Individuals and use material generosity as a basis for gauging the depth of SPIRITUALITY and Commitment, we run the risk of draining religion of it's Ideals and goals. These dangerous tendencies deepen inequalities as the poor begin to feel that all that the rich owe them is their generosity while they gradually accept their fate as an act of GOD!

He has to do his duty, when he does his duty he becomes a slave. But the inborn desire for enlightenment again and again reminds him to accomplish the purpose of life. Changing one's situation such as divorcing to attain a fake independence, or renouncing one's home and duties will not solve this dilemma. One has to solve the main problem of how to have freedom from within and yet do one's duty. People do their duty selfishly because of the pleasure they will receive.

Speaker didn't resolve #ASUU strike.
It is not Speaker, Gbajabiamila's intervention that made #ASUU call off the eight-month strike, please . This will be wrong deduction.
His intervention played a role really but the roles played by the tripartite plus community should be placed in proper perspective and tribute appropriately paid.
#ASUU was forced to suspend strike because the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige threw his last card into the board. He invoked section 17 of the Trade Disputes Act and migrated the dispute to the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.
For months, he refused to deploy this tool, hoping #ASUU was more reasonable. It was the same card he played against the NARD in 2021. The junior doctors called off strike and their matter gradually settled.
The interlocutory injunction by the Industrial Court directing #ASUU back to work was eloquent. It was a killer punch.
#ASUU's appeal at the Appeal Court didn't fly as the court further tied their hands. "Call off the strike and resume duties in seven days" it declared. Doing them in the more, the Registrar of Trade Unions in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, registered two new rival unions - #CONUA and #NAMDA whose applications have been pending since 2018.
These set of lecturers under these two unions were ready to go back to the classroom. The check-off dues of their members will no longer go to #ASUU's treasury. Do you know what it means to #ASUU?
It is the last straw that broke the camel's back as we say in history- a nunc dimitis for #ASUU, the literary scholars would call it.
"Flying to the patronage" of the House of Representatives was a mere soft landing. The Speaker added nothing new.
How? The post Briggs committee 30% salary increment did not change.
The mainstreaming of Earned/ Academic Allowance/ Funding into 2023 budget did not change. The handshake between IPPIS and UTAS which Ngige advised #ASUU since November 2021 did not change. Someone asked, "what of No Work, No Pay?
Usually, the Minister meets the President behind and convinces him to bend backwards once the strike is called off. It was so in 2020 when he first invoked No work, No pay on #ASUU.
In fact, during conciliation in March 2022, the Minister appealed to #ASUU to call the action and have the rest of their demands sorted out. He asked them, "Is there anything I have you I will get from the President and failed? They muted" No." He made it clear to them that his personal opinion was that no professor would earn less than a million naira.
Unfortunately, Emmanuel Osodeke bungled what would been a big win for #ASUU with his fiery temper. The immediate past #ASUU president, Prof. Biodun would have managed the situation better.

Today, hundreds and thousands of "match-makers" try and link people together. But the beauty of the Quran is in its simplicity. That's is even why when they ask me about wife anywhere, I say..... I am married in view.....because I see it close........so close.
All you have to do on a daily basis is start reciting this verse from the Holy Quran:
Rabbi inni lemaa anzalta elayya min khairin faqeer (Chapter 28, verse 24)
Verse 24 is the Supplication or "Du'a" that everyone needs to read, if not memorize. Whenever, you feel lonely and full of desire for a spouse, or feel the pain of not having a wife or husband, then start reading this dua.
Read it standing, sitting, walking, laying, before prayers, after prayers and in any mode of your daily activities and as many times. Below is the Arabic of what was transliterated above:
رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ إِلَىَّ مِنۡ خَيۡرٍ۬ فَقِيرٌ۬
Insha Allah within 4-months you will see the doors open and Allah Ta'ala will alleviate/remove your pain by providing you with a spouse. So, what you have to do is after you read this verse a number of times; make sure to ask Allah (God) in a way similar to what follows:
"Oh Allah! You have made every living thing in pairs. The sincere, beautiful and pious pair that you have created for me, please give it to me"
It is recommended that one recites this verse at least 10times and after finishing this dua ask Allah Almighty for a spouse that is kind, beautiful, soft hearted, pious, loving and a gentle soul mate. What you want in your spouse is what you should ask but if you don't ask for piety or kind heartedness then don't blame anyone but yourself.
Interesting Facts From Qur'an...
You would have to turn your attention to Suratul-Qasas (Arabic: سورة القصص) (The Stories). This is the 28th surah (chapter) of the Qur'an with 88 ayats (verses). Lexically, "Qasas" means to relate events in their proper sequence. In fact, this Surah details the story of the Sayyidna Musa alayhi salaam (Prophet Moses). So, here is the background to this wonderful incident as explained in the Quran:
And a man came from the uttermost part of the city, running. He said: O Musa! Lo! the chiefs take counsel against thee to slay thee; therefor escape. Lo! I am of those who give thee good advice (20)

Question:
So are you ready to embark on this journey? Are you sincerely seeking to get married? Are you ready to apply the Quranic truth and experience its reality? Or are you just playing around?
Today, hundreds and thousands of "match-makers" try and link people together. But the beauty of the Quran is in its simplicity. That's is even why when they ask me about wife anywhere, I say..... I am married in view.....because I see it close........so close.
All you have to do on a daily basis is start reciting this verse from the Holy Quran:
Rabbi inni lemaa anzalta elayya min khairin faqeer (Chapter 28, verse 24)
Verse 24 is the Supplication or "Du'a" that everyone needs to read, if not memorize. Whenever, you feel lonely and full of desire for a spouse, or feel the pain of not having a wife or husband, then start reading this dua.
Read it standing, sitting, walking, laying, before prayers, after prayers and in any mode of your daily activities and as many times. Below is the Arabic of what was transliterated above:
رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلۡتَ إِلَىَّ مِنۡ خَيۡرٍ۬ فَقِيرٌ۬
Insha Allah within 4-months you will see the doors open and Allah Ta'ala will alleviate/remove your pain by providing you with a spouse. So, what you have to do is after you read this verse a number of times; make sure to ask Allah (God) in a way similar to what follows:
"Oh Allah! You have made every living thing in pairs. The sincere, beautiful and pious pair that you have created for me, please give it to me"
It is recommended that one recites this verse at least 10times and after finishing this dua ask Allah Almighty for a spouse that is kind, beautiful, soft hearted, pious, loving and a gentle soul mate. What you want in your spouse is what you should ask but if you don't ask for piety or kind heartedness then don't blame anyone but yourself.
Interesting Facts From Qur'an...
You would have to turn your attention to Suratul-Qasas (Arabic: سورة القصص) (The Stories). This is the 28th surah (chapter) of the Qur'an with 88 ayats (verses). Lexically, "Qasas" means to relate events in their proper sequence. In fact, this Surah details the story of the Sayyidna Musa alayhi salaam (Prophet Moses). So, here is the background to this wonderful incident as explained in the Quran:
And a man came from the uttermost part of the city, running. He said: O Musa! Lo! the chiefs take counsel against thee to slay thee; therefor escape. Lo! I am of those who give thee good advice (20)
So he (Sayyidna Musa alayhi salaam) escaped from thence, fearing, vigilant. He said: Ya Rab! Deliver me from the wrongdoing folk. (21)
And when he turned his face toward Midian, he said: Per adventure my Lord will guide me in the right road. (22)
And when he came unto the water of Midian he found there a whole tribe of men, watering. And he found apart from them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What aileth you? The two said: We cannot give (our flocks) to drink till the shepherds return from the water; and our father is a very old man. (23)
So he watered (their flock) for them. Then he turned aside into the shade, and said: My Lord! I am needy of whatever good Thou sendest down for me. (24)
So, why does this supplication work so well? Allah ta'ala gives the response in the Quran immediately after this verse.
Then there came unto him one of the two women, walking shyly. She said: Lo! my father biddeth thee, that he may reward thee with a payment for that thou didst water (the flock) for us. Then, when he came unto him and told him the (whole) story, he said: Fear not! Thou hast escaped from the wrongdoing folk. (25)
One of the two women said, O my father! Hire him. For the best (man) that thou can hire is the strong, the trustworthy.(26)
Therefore, one can see that Sayyidna Musa alayhi salaam found a spouse and he landed himself a job. The key Arabic word to note is that after Sayyidna Musa alayhi salaam finished his dua, the response from Allah ta'ala was very fast; otherwise known in Arabic as "Bis-sura'a" (speedy).
Verse 25 starts with the Arabic word "Fa Jaa'at huma...". Any verse that starts with "faa" and not "waa" is an indication that the response will be immediate.

Education doesn't mean the sum total of what once know or the ability to speak good English or the skills to which you put it to your personal advantage. But rather the soundness of once judgement of people and events, once ability to be of service to one another.
Having agree on that, we need to change the colonial design in our Educational system. So that we educate our citizens not school for employment. Educational programmes must either grow it, mine it or manufacture it. Any programme that does not have any of the above mention element should be close.
Everything is in the design. Games are won or lost at the design stage. Nigerian Universities still maintain: Education 3.0 Traditional Colonial Mentality Design i.e Teaching, Research and Community Services to produce graduands that can only work in office or maintain service line. They cannot innovate no industrialist.
I recommend Nigerian Universities to progress to Education 5.0 African Heritage Philosophy i.e Teaching, Research, Community Services, Innovation and Industrialisation.
That will allow us use our plants, animals, minerals and resources available in our Country. Our students will be innovative and can industrialised our country.
Just thinking of how to inject new ideas into our mode of delivery. May Allah guide us out of our multiple problems amin.
