3. Facilitates a motion on reconstructing and expanding Ɗanbatta-Kazaure-Daura Road
4. Establishment of federal polytechnic in his home town Kabo, according to report the Federal Government has appointed principal officers of the polytechnic and infrastructural development is ongoing.
5. Sponsored a motion challenging the federal government on the issue of banning of importation of cars through the land borders.
6. Sponsored and get the nod of his colleagues in the Senate to approve for the conversion of FCE Kano to “Federal University of Education.”
7. Sponsored a bill on JAMB UTME validity to three years
8. Sponsored a bill on Federal University of Maritime Studies.
9. Sponsored a bill Jibril ‘Trade malpractices Act CAP 12 LFN 2011 (Amendment) Bill 2015 and Energy Commission Act no. 621979(Amendment) 2015.’
10. Sponsored a bill Federal University of Agriculture, Ɗanbatta, Kano
11. Sponsored a bill Microbiology Council of Nigeria
12. Et cetera!
I urged the 10th National Assembly Senators-elect to vote for Senator Barau I Jibril MALIYA as the next Senate President.
Sen. Barau Jibrin has the experience, expertise, and the capacity. Barau as Senate President will be a very good political reward returns of vote for Northwest during the 2023 General Elections. It would also be a check and balance for APC losing Kano APC gubernatorial position in the Nigeria’s most populous state. If as a Senator, Barau can influence the votes that turned out to be the game changer in the Presidential to Gubernatorial elections with his 13 local Government area, I believe he will replicate such gesture as the Senate President.
I know all the aspirants for the office are very experienced and qualified, but Maliya is more deserving for the purpose of political fairness.

Know The Facts On Adamawa Election
1. Some INEC staff connived with Fintiri to stuff ballot boxes, bypass BVAS machines and commit all manner of electoral frauds. Binani complained to INEC and requested them to review the whole process within the legal window of seven days. That should have been done before the rerun because the results earlier declared were not the true reflection of the vote that took place. The review was done but the results were never made public. The only thing they did was to redeploy one of the officers used to perpetrate the fraud. Certainly that was not enough. On Fufore the whole charade was glaring. A fake result was manufactured at a police station under the watchful eyes of the state government apparatus with thugs holding the Returning officer to Ransome and forcing him to announce the manufactured result amidst the chanting of PDP slogans. Moreover, INEC claimed they cancelled some results from there but removed Fufore completely from a rerun trying to legitimize the illegality that took place there. If INEC or anybody is on the side of justice, the earlier electoral fraud and all issues around it should have been properly addressed. But that was not done. The REC took every step to correct it. But he was demonized and molested constantly by the government and the PDP.
2. Before the rerun the state government and the PDP kept calling for the suspension of the state REC because all attempts to have him cover up the earlier frauds were rebuffed. So, when it came to the rerun two INEC National Commissioners came to Yola. They were supposed to be neutral and their job was strictly supervisory. They went for a Dinner at the Government House, collected huge sums of money from the government and suddenly surfaced to announce the suspension of the REC. They have no powers to do so. They took over the collation process contrary to the law. They came to observe and supervise not takeover the job of the REC. The same government that gave them money sent its own security operatives and some thugs to kidnap them, the thugs assuming one of them was the REC. They molested them and manhandled one so badly. Later one of the top officials of the state government who also directs the campaign went to apologize to the molested person shamelessly claiming that he was mistaken for the state REC. While all these were happening the Returning officer was holed up somewhere and a plan was afoot to use one of the two National Commissioners to declare the state governor without following any legal requirements. That is what created the vacuum that forced the REC to do the needful as prescribed by law.
3. The state government using security personnel attached to it went on a molestation spree arresting, torturing and forcing people to confess to crimes they never committed. They went after security personnel and INEC staff. A senior security official was beaten and forced to claim that REC collected money which was a lie. They also recruited some miscreants and organized a display of arrest claiming that these people were engaged by the REC to hack the BVAS machines. This too was a build up drama to support the proposed illegal declaration of Fintiri after all the facts have shown that he did not score majority of the lawful votes cast.
4. The REC acted in line with the provisions of sections 147 and 149 of the electoral act. A similar situation arose in Jos North LGA in Plateau State when an EO took over the collation and announcement of results. INEC upheld it. A declaration has been made. The only institution that can reverse it is the court of law or the judiciary in whatever form. INEC that ignored all the illegality that took place earlier cannot act differently on an issue that was clearly within the law.

WHO WANT TO COMPETE!
Prof. Ahmad Bakori Muhammad
Commissioner Agriculture and Livestock, Katsina State.
Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Bakori is a teaching staff at Bayero University, Kano. A visiting lecturer at Umaru Musa Yar'adua University, Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology Wudil, and others.
Like vines that twine round a tree, the appointment of Prof. Bakori was intertwined with destiny. Ahmad Bakori Muhammad being, and remains a blessing to the people of Bakori Local Government Area and to many an individual that come across him, a seasoned Aluta Comrade during his undergraduate studies at Usman Danfodiyo University, Sokkoto, a nationalistic technocrat politician, a successful educationist lecturer, a friendly man, and also a great family man.
Prof. Bakori had all the opportunities that can make a man great, he went to school like others, the local man. Attended Nadabo Primary School Bakori, Secondary at Government Day Bakori, also attended higher public institutions; IJMB C.A.S Zaria, B.Sc. Agriculture UDUS Sokkoto, M.Sc. Agricultural Economics ATBU Bauchi, PhD. Agricultural Economics ATBU Bauchi. He started a remarkable lecturing career at a young age and went on to become a professor at 40's.
Prof. Bakori remains consistently humble, in spite of the rare opportunities, becoming the first and only Professor of Agricultural Economics and Extension in Katsina State and also in Bakori Local Government Metropolitan.
Prof. Bakori journey to the appointment as commissioner presents yet the greatest lessons in patients and perseverance. The road to the appointment was particularly rough and imbued with lessons of faith, focus and fortitude. The protracted Vice-chancellor UMYUK appointment saga, which ended with sad news, was to me, a mere climaxing event that was powerfully underscores your providence.
Bakori, broke barriers on several fronts and defied antics of the pessimists who found it difficult to believe that they were consumed by time. This is Bakori for you, making distinction in the garb of decorum and humility at a time when ordinarily, others like him would have been proclaiming themselves shoulder high. Bakori to us is more than a professor of Agricultural Economics and Extension rather a Professor of life Science in general.
I see Bakori with integrity, dedication & upright. When he says yes, he mean yes!
