The spirit of our time, is the spirit of Fedayî: Letters of two heroes

The spirit that made the Kurdish Freedom Movement resist against fascism and genocide is the spirit of Fedayî (self-sacrificing), especially now when the hegemonic forces attack the Revolution in all parts of Kurdistan. With their action against the arms company TUSAŞ, Şehîd Asya Alî and Şehîd Rojger Hêlîn showed themselves to be the purest embodiment of this spirit.

Kobane is under attack: Take action and defend the women's Revolution

In the last days the fascist Turkish state is intensifiying it's attacks on Rojava and especially on Kobanê. Erdogans goal is not just to gain territory, but to destroy our visions of socializm, women's liberation and the unity of the people. This is why Kobane is a strategical target for him. Imaginemos un árbol que creció durante años y echó raíces en la tierra. Si arrancases un árbol de la tierra y lo movieses a otra tierra quizás siga viviendo, pero no florecería tan bella y magníficamente cómo antes. Sería más sensible a las tormentas y vendavales que se lo llevarían por delante. La política del sistema homogéneo y colonialista de separar a las sociedades de su tierra y forzarlas a huir con guerras y masacres funciona según este principio. EL pueblo de Afrín llevó a cabo una resistencia histórica contra ésta política de guerra. La ocupación de Afrín en 2018 es solo la culminación de una larga historia de genocidio cultural al que los kurdos son expuestos en todas partes, incluyendo Afrín. Pero incluso cuándo la sociedad huyó de Afrín por los masivos ataques del ejercito de ocupación Turco, no perdió la esperanza de volver algún día
