➡️ in modern warfare, armed struggle constitutes only about twenty percent of the conflict. Psychological warfare, on the other hand, operates twenty-four hours a day, almost every second of the war, focusing on psychological assault.

➡️ In the recent war in Syria psychological warfare and miss-information plays a significant role, as for example in the fall of the Assad-Regime. Turkish fascism tries to gain success against the revolution in Kurdistan and North-East Syria through the same methods.

➡️ Due to the exhausting and demoralizing impact of psychological warfare, those who fight for a free life must focus heavily on organization, propaganda, and agitation efforts.

🎥 YOUNG WOMEN JOURNALISTS ARE UNSTOPPABLE

➡️ Only in 2024, the International Federation of Journalists recorded 122 murders of journalists. Of those, more than half were in the Middle East and 14 were women.

➡️ Every war is based on a patriarchal mentality. The sexist system of domination does not accept women who set out on the path of truth. Because women's reports unmask the system in all its brutality.

➡️ The Kurdish journalist Awaz Elî, was injured in a Turkish drone strike in Tishreen, North-East Syria on January 8th, 2025. Just a short time after her treatment she was laughing and showing the victory sign into the camera.

🌹The dynamism of young women in journalism in particular is unstoppable, and therefore a fundamental pillar in the fight against the propaganda and media war all over the world!

The bombings on the area of the Tishreen Dam are continuing.

We are going to report how the situation will develop and how the resistance will going on.

Press Release

Today on the 21st January the Turkish state has bombed multiple times on the action of the civilian society at the Tishreen Dam, causing serious injures and in this moment more and more people are losing their lives as a result of the attacks.

Also more than 4 journalists suffered injuries from the attacks. They were present at the moment of the attacks because they wanted to be witnesses so that they could tell the world about the war crimes that Turkey continues to commit.

Constantly during this morning there were bombings around the dam. This afternoon Turkey made airstrikes on the people while they were dancing outside.

These are targeted attacks, we need to analyze carefully the strategy of the Turkish state. From the first day of the action at the Tishreen Dam, on 8 January, the Turkish state has been trying to stop the people with bombings from drones and fighter jets. People who have come there to protect it from destruction and to protest the attacks.

It is the responsibility of all the press to spread the truth and to tell to the world about the continuous breaking of international law that the Turkish state is committing through violation of human rights, ecological destruction and war crimes.

We are close to 26 January, the day of the anniversary of the liberation of Kobane. The city that fought against and defeated the islamist militias of ISIS in 2014. It is not a coincidence that the Turkish state has chosen this time to attack. It wants to tarnish the history of resistance and values that this region and these city represent.

We cannot allow these immoral attacks to go unreported. We cannot remain silent. Sharing the right information at this time plays a crucial role in stopping this massacre and not allowing these crimes to be repeated and continue.

We call on all journalist to not stay silent on these situation and report what is happening here.

We call on all journalists to come here, to bear witness to the crimes of the Turkish state and report for themselves what we are resisting day by day.
