this hatred of women blossoms much more greatly when the iranian man becomes face to face with arab women. in a way, the “secular” iranian man hates no one more than it hates arab women. their existence, success and endurance baffles the iranian man who considers these women inferior both by sex and by race/culture. a woman writer from the arab world, a thinker, even a mother saving her children from the rumbles calmly, these images infuriate the iranian man.
