bookstores have become unbearable, there’s always the newest translation of the same philosophy book thats been published 4 times before, there’s the 67th cat at the library book that literally makes you hate cats and libraries and if you’re lucky and they’ve translates new stuff its the most horrid translation you’ve ever seen

it’s just that we are not evolving in any way. publishers are stuck in a loop. no ones doing anything new or fun. i genuinely dont think the problems of publishing industry is just books being expensive (they are btw. way too expensive)
