the old AI model of google (the one responsible for frequently asked question boxes, the one showing you the end of your sentence before you write it, the one that gave a list of related questions other users have asked) worked well because it understood where the “intelligence” in AI comes from. human brain and experiences. the new model is giving me bullshit answers and wrong questions and its so dumb it can’t even finish an obvious question, what’s going on in the basement they run AI from?

it’s actually so wild, spotify radio and recommendations worked based on AI too, it was fine, it had a few funny moments but overall it was good enough. now spotify can’t even understand typos anymore. it recommends to you the album you streamed 55 times as “new picks” and the playlists it makes are all songs you’ve listened to before. i’m going crazy what is the point of AI if it gets more stupid daily
and people keep saying crazy stuff to me like “are you sure about that? let me check with chat gpt. but chat gpt said x is the best director.” like CHAT GPT IS NOT AN ENTITY ITS NOT REAL IT HAS NO AUTHORITY ITS NOT A QUALIFICATION ITS JUST A TOOL
