হযরত আয়েশা রাঃ হতে বর্ণিত,তিনি বলেন,নবীয়ে করিম (সা) বলেছেন, কুরবানির দিনে আল্লাহর কছে কুরবানির পশুর খুন প্রবাহিত করার চেয়ে আর প্রিয় কোন আমল নেই।ঐ পশুর শিং,পশম ও তার খুর পর্যন্ত নেকির পাল্লায় ওজন হবে। নিশ্চয় কুরবানির পশুর রক্ত জমিনে স্পর্শ করার আগে আল্লাহর আরশে পৌছে যায়। তোমরা খুশি মনে আল্লাহর নামে কুরবানি দাও।(তিরমিযি- ইবনে মাজাহ)
