What is the difference?

🏨The differences are actually pretty small, but the prejudices are widely spread. So, motels and hostels are subcategories of hotels.

🏩Hotels can be categorized in many ways – not just by stars but also in types.

🔹conference hotels
🔹boutique hotels
🔹budget hotels
🔹limited service hotels
🔹luxury hotels
🔺And of course also motels and hostels.

🔴Motel is a combination of the words “motor” and “hotel”. The term comes from the usual placement of motels near long stretches of motorway, benefiting drivers on a long trip.

🔴Hostels is another budget-friendly and often very social stayover option. Guests do not reserve rooms at hostels but rent beds – usually a bunk bed in a dormitory with other travelers. #Collected

🔰🔰Voice Changing(বাচ্য পরিবর্তন)

সাধারণত অনেক সময় একটি কাজ subject নিজে সম্পন্ন করে থাকে, আবার অনেক সময় একটি কাজ অন্যের দ্বারা সম্পাদিত হয়ে থাকে এই ধরনের কাজগুলো মূলত voice-এর আলোচ্য বিষয়।
আরেকটু সহজ করে বললে-
একটি verb "active" বা "passive" কিনা, তা বর্ণনা করতে voice changing জানতে হয়।

💙Voice: দুই প্রকার:-
i. Active voice
ii. Passive voice

🟧Voice changing-এর ক্ষেত্রে ৩টি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য:

!) শুধুমাএ Transitive verb (verb + object) এর voice change হয়।

ii. Passive voice এ‌ অবশ্যই tense অনুযায়ী be verb + verb এর past participle হবে।

iii. Passive voice এ "by" থাকবেই এমন কোন শর্ত নয়, তবে অনেক ক্ষেত্রে থাকে।

🔴অজানা কথা:

“Have” এমন একটি “transitive verb” যার কোন passive voice হয়না।

Active: I have a cow
Incorrect (passive): A cow is had by me.
Correct (passive) : A cow is possessed by me. ( informal use)

🟦Active হতে Passive করার ৬ টি ধাপ:
i. Active voice-এর object কে subject বানাতে হবে +
ii. Tense অনুসারে be verb নিতে হবে +
iii. Transitive verb এর past participle
করতে হবে+
iv. অতিরিক্ত অংশ (extension) বসাতে হবে (যদি থাকে) +
v. Preposition "by" অথবা "with/at/in/from বসবে etc."
vi. Active voice-এর subject এর object form বসাতে হবে।
