North Korea fires hundreds of artillery shells into disputed border area with South Korea

South Korean intelligence estimates approximately 200 shells fired into the disputed area on Friday and an additional 60 on Saturday. 

The South Korean Defense Ministry reportedly fired approximately 400 rounds in response to the provocation.

South Korean military officials are in contact with their US Counterparts. Both countries are monitoring the situation.

Bill to require Congress to vote to send National Guard into war clears NH House

The New Hampshire State House passed ‘Defend The Guard Act’. If passed in the Senate and signed by the Governor, “would prohibit the deployment of the New Hampshire National Guard into overseas combat unless Congress first votes to declare war.”

🤔 Well…imagine that, NH is trying to actually follow the U.S.Constitution:

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General C. Q. Brown was informed the Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was hospitalized Tuesday but agreed to maintain the charade that Austin was working at home.

Meanwhile, Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, who was on vacation in Puerto Rico, was asked to assume some of Austin's duties, but she didn't know he was in the hospital until Thursday.

Experts warn of national security risks after CBP slashes question list for Chinese migrants from 40 to just 5

“Experts told The Post that while the change was necessary to expedite CBP’s processing of applications, it heightens the prospect of accidentally granting asylum to bad actors from the nation’s top adversary.”

Questions cut to save time ranged from asking about prior arrests to how someone got to the US, including whether any smuggling fees were paid to human traffickers, according to published documents.

“There is no requirement for 100% Chinese in-depth interviews or phone downloads,” according to an emailed response. “Intake of the Chinese by any processor are asked the basic questions to include … military service, place of birth, employment … [and] political party.”

While prior Chinese military service and affiliation with the CCP are obvious red flags, processors are asked to alert if a migrant reports attending certain schools associated with security risks or working in the science, technology, medical, financial or government sectors, according to the email.
