Lawmakers have warned the charity shares ties to terrorists. Thrn, in October 2023, USAID provided them with out another $78,000 to that same charity for a program running until September, as per federal spending records.
A former high-ranking USAID official said: “It’s very telling they opened an investigation into a grant of that size, it shows they are concerned it could go to bad guys. It indicates something smells very rotten.”

FTX Founder Bankman-Fried’s Lawyer Asks Judge To Reject 100-Year Recommended Sentence, Seeks Less Than 7 Years
Judge Lewis A. Kaplan is scheduled to sentence Bankman-Fried on March 28th for allegedly cheating investors and customers of at least $10 billion in the business that he controlled.
Lawyers for FTX founder SBF urged a judge for a shorter sentence, saying the 100-year pre-sentence is “grotesque” and “barbaric.”
Attorney Marc Mukasey stated that a report by probation officers “improperly” calculated sentencing guidelines to recommend a 100-year sentence.
Prosecutors agree with the 100-year recommendation saying it was supported by trial evidence.
