5 children killed in humanitarian aid airdrop, Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health says

Five children were reportedly killed by a humanitarian aid airdrop in the Gaza Strip. The drop was from an unidentified foreign country on Friday, according to the Hamas-run Gaza Ministry of Health.

Several Palestinian civilians were also injured in the airdrop, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza, which called the airdrop "random."

Previously, Israel said it has cooperated on airdrops into Gaza with several countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, France and the U.S.

🚨Senate sends $460B bill to avert shutdown to Biden’s desk just hours before deadline

“The Senate voted 75-22 to pass the six-bill, $460 billion package on Friday evening, approving full-year funding for the departments of Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, Interior, Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, Justice, Commerce and Energy, among other offices.”

The package marks just the first of two batches of spending bills Congress is working to pass this month. Lawmakers are also facing down a March 22 deadline for the remaining funding bills

4. $1 million for an environmental justice center in New York City
