Man in New Mexico dies from the PLAGUE in America's first fatal case in years

The patient was from Lincoln County, just south of Albuquerque,. No other details have been released about him.

New Mexico Department of Health said it is carrying out track and trace methods to see if anyone else had been infected.

Boeing whistleblower found dead in US

John Barnett worked for Boeing for 32 years and retired in 2017.

He had been providing evidence in a whistleblower lawsuit against the company In the days before his death.

He had reportedly shared concerns about the company involving quality control issues in 2019 ( see linked article for specifics).

At the time of his death, Mr Barnett had been in Charleston for legal interviews involving
a case he brought accusing the company of denigrating his character and hampering his career because of the issues he pointed out, which Boeing denied.

He gave a formal deposition and was questioned by Boeing's lawyers, before being cross-examined by his own counsel last week.

Barnett was due to undergo further questioning last Saturday. He did not appear and enquiries were made at his hotel.

He was subsequently found dead in his truck in the hotel car park.

The Charleston County coroner confirmed the 62-year-old had died from a "self-inflicted gunshot wound" on March 9th and police were investigating.

Last week, the FAA said a six-week audit of the company had found "multiple instances where the company allegedly failed to comply with manufacturing quality control requirements".

Just 10 seconds after flight 830 from Sydney to San Francisco took the air, video by plane spotter NY Aviation had clear images of fluid spewing from the plane, it looks like it was coming from the rear right landing gear.

The crew of the Boeing 777-300 jet continued over the ocean for a while before turning around. 

Video from a passenger shows the crew dumping fuel before landing.

The plane landed safely back at the airport in Sydney, with no injuries, but a lot of questions.

Tate, 37, and his brother Tristan Tate were detained Monday evening on allegations of sexual aggression in a UK case dating back to 2012-2015 according to Mateea Petrescu, their spokesperson.

The Bucharest Court of Appeal is set to make a “pivotal decision” Tuesday on whether to execute the warrants issued by UK’s Westminster Magistrates Court as per Petrescu.
