Find the Votes': Newsom Scrounging for (Only) Democrat Mail-In Ballots to Pass Signature Tax Increase

Gov. Newsom bad a $6.4 billion dollar ballot measure placed on the March ballot which was promoted as a way to get mentally ill homeless people treatment and housing.

On Monday morning, the measure was only ahead by 17,000 votes, with over 200,000 unprocessed ballots statewide.

Newsom is so panicked about a possible loss that he canceled his State of the State speech scheduled for Monday.

He has also launched a massive statewide effort to ‘find the votes’ needed to ensure Prop 1 passes.

While campaigning in Ohio this weekend, former President Donald Trump warned that without fierce new United States tariffs on China-made EVs, the American auto industry will face “a bloodbath for the country” with jobs lost and industry offshored.

Xiaopeng in a letter to XPeng employees, suggested that “a bloodbath” is coming for the American auto industry this year.

Xiaopeng said that China seeks to deliver a “brutal knockout round” against its Western competitors, including the U.S., in the global EV market.

Massive Chinese firm sues small Michigan town over opposition to controversial EV battery project

Gotion Inc.’s parent company, Gotion High-Tech based in Hefei; China, and has documented ties to the Chinese Communist Party filed a breach-of-contract complaint against Green Charter Township in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

Under the economic development package awarded to Gotion, the company is set to receive $175M in taxpayer-funded incentives and more than $500M in tax incentives.

The project has generated substantial local uproar, with residents repeatedly expressing concern about Gotion's ties to China and calling on the Whitmer administration to cancel the project.

As the town pursued the agreement and negotiations with Gotion, local residents organized a recall effort that was successful. Every member of the town board, was ousted.

When new members of the board took office, they immediately rescinded the October development agreement.

Gotion's filed a federal lawsuit that states: “The Development Agreement was and remains a legally binding agreement between Gotion and the Township…”
