SCOTUS Investigates How N.Y. Inhibited Insurers From Working With NRA

The NRA filed a First Amendment appeal with the Supreme Court on Monday.

The appeal was directed at a New York financial regulator who had purportedly convinced banks and insurance companies to cut ties with the gun rights organization.

The NRA maintains that Maria Vullo, the former superintendent of the New York State Department of Financial Services, threatened enforcement actions against insurance companies if they worked with or complied with the gun lobby group, in addition to pressuring them to break away from it altogether.

Vullo adamantly denies this allegation.

The Supreme Court is anticipated to render a ruling by the end of June.

House Republicans demand answers on ‘gag order’ for union of immigration judges

Rep., Jim Jordan, Judiciary Committee chair, and Rep. Tom McClintock, who leads an immigration subcommittee, seek records related to “a reported gag order that forbids immigration judges from speaking with Congress or the news media about the (Biden) Administration’s unprecedented immigration crisis.”

The order appears to violate a guarantee that federal employees can speak freely with Congress, the lawmakers wrote David Neal, director of the Justice Department’s Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Woman arrested after trying to remove squatters from her New York home

A 47-year-old New York City woman was recently arrested for unlawful eviction. She had tried to prevent squatters from re-entering the $1 million property bequeathed to her by her family.

Adele Andaloro changed the locks on the Flushing, Queens home. According to NYC law, this is not allowed if ‘tenants” have lived in a building more than 30 days, in this case, some had.

DISTURBING: “Pregnant American Mothers are Now Dying at Alarming Rates”

Why? Don’t look at the COVID-19 injections.

Maternal deaths have skyrocketed in America, and the CDC “doesn’t know” what’s causing it.

According to a CDC report: “The maternal mortality rate for 2021 was 32.9 deaths per 100,000 live births, compared with a rate of 23.8 in 2020 and 20.1 in 2019.”

That’s a 38.2% increase compared to 2020 and a 63.7% increase from 2019.

This increase in maternal deaths has “erased four decades of progress in obstetrics,” remarked Dr. Peter McCullough.

“And in that manunoscript, there’s no mention of COVID, and there’s no mention of the vaccines. They’re simply reporting this bad news that pregnant American mothers are now dying at alarming rates. This is in a US federal government publication. I think everybody listening to this should be alarmed.”

Republicans want to ban DEI in medical schools netting over $180 BILLION per year: New bill would specifically yank federal funding from any school with diversity offices or that 'discriminates on race' including by 'forcing' liberal beliefs

The EDUCATE Act compels medical schools and accrediting agencies to:

✔️Uphold colorblind admissions processes
✔️Prohibit the coercion of students who hold certain political opinions.
✔️Not promote diversity achieved through exclusionary practices.

The bill would cut off federal funding to medical schools that 'force students or faculty to adopt specific beliefs, discriminate based on race or ethnicity, or have diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) offices or any functional equivalent.' 

The bill has at least 35 cosponsors.
