🚨Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to step down; board chair and commercial airplane head replaced in wake of 737 Max crisis

Calhoun will step down at the end of 2024 in part of a broad management shakeup for the embattled aerospace giant.

Chairman of the board Larry Kellner is also resigning and will leave the board at Boeing's annual meeting in May. He has been replaced as chair by Steve Mollenkopf, who has been a Boeing director since 2020.

And Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, is leaving the company effective immediately. Moving into his job is Stephanie Pope, who recently became Boeing's Chief Operating Officer after previously running Boeing Global Services.

GOP House Members Push Back on Biden Administration's Continued Efforts to Force 'Medicare for All'

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service (CMS) is proposing to lower the insurer reimbursement rate for Medicare Advantage for the 2nd year in a row.

This is despite insurers and providers, like every sector in this economy, seeing huge increases in cost. In the opinion of some members of Congress and industry observers, these cuts are intended to weaken the popular program and eventually do away with it.

Why would radical progressives feel the need to do away with Medicare Advantage since it's still part of the government plan?

Because the government doesn't fully run it, and bureaucrats have a slightly more difficult time making healthcare choices for individauls than they do in traditional Medicare.

Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-NC) wrote a letter singed by an additional 44 reps requesting that CMS reevaluate the proposed Medicare Advantage cuts, which are scheduled to be announced as part of the final Rate Announcement "on or before April 1, 2024”. Adding:"We are concerned about the proposed effective growth rate for 2025, which ignores financial realities by not accounting for the growth in costs and inflation and will deepen funding disparities."

Trump Arrives In Court For ‘Hush Money’ Hearing To Set New Trial Date

Today’s hearing is expected to consider Trump’s motion to dismiss the case. If the judge doesn’t side with Trump and throw out the charges, determine when the new trial date will be.

He also faces a deadline Monday to post bond in the civil fraud case against him and his company, or else risk the possibility that New York AG Letitia James could enforce the judgment and seize Trump’s assets.

🚨Court Agreed to Block Collection of Trump’s $475 million Civil Fraud Judgement if he Puts Up $175 Million

A New York appeals court on Monday agreed to hold off collection of former President  Donald Trump's $457 million civil fraud judgment if he puts up $175 million within 10 days.

If he does, it will stop the clock on collection and prevent the state from seizing his assets while he appeals.

Biden Throws Israel Under the Bus in Disgusting UN Vote on Ceasefire, Cruz and Cotton Blast Him

The Biden team abstained in voting on the UN Security Council’s measure for an immediate ceasefire during Ramadan, rather than vetoing it and preventing it from passing.

All the other countries voted in favor of the measure. 

This abstention comes after years of the US standing with their ally Israel.

“Biden, given the choice to stand with Israel, ABSTAINED.l

“Disgraceful.”

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) posted:
Joe Biden continues to appease the pro-Hamas wing of his party by undermining Israel on the battlefield and at the UN.

US, UK accuse China over spy campaign that may have hit millions

U.S. and British officials on Monday filed charges, imposed sanctions, and called out Beijing over a sweeping cyberespionage campaign that allegedly hit millions of people - including lawmakers, academics, journalists and more.

Authorities on both sides of the Atlantic accused the hacking group nicknamed "APT31" of being an arm of China's Ministry of State of Security and reeled off a laundry list of targets:

However, he recalled one instance where he called Trump on the phone, and he was “not good.”
