Congress grants $380 million in border security funding to Middle Eastern countries

The $1.2Trillion omnibus package includes funding for defense and homeland security as well as other agencies, includes an appropriation for $380 million to remain available until September 2025 to reimburse the following countries for "enhanced border security”:

📌Jordan
📌Lebanon
📌Egypt
📌Tunisia
📌Oman

⚡️$150 million is specifically dedicated to Jordan

Texas person is diagnosed with bird flu after being in contact with cows

It was reported recently that the Bird Flu virus was discovered in dairy cows in both Texas and Kansas.

Now. a person in Texas has been diagnosed with bird flu. The patient, who has been in contact with cows, is being treated with an antiviral drug and their only reported symptom was eye redness.

It’s only the second time a person in the U.S. has been diagnosed with Type A H5N1 virus.

Actions speak much louder than words…

US senator accused of cozy ties to Apple after leading charge against congressional stock trading

Sen. John Ossoff (D-Ga.) – famously ripped his Republican opponent David Perdue as a crook over personal stock trades during his 2020 campaign and portrayed himself as a champion of the movement to ban congressional stock trading.

Ossoff even co- sponsored a bill to ban ongress their spouses and children from trading stocks while in office and require them to place pre-existing assets into a blind trust, or divest them entirely.

Fun fact: Ossoff himself owned between millions in Apple stock before setting up his own blind trust in early 2021 and likely is still a shareholder…while sitting on the Senate Judiciary Committee responsible for regulating the company.

Two bills dealing with stocks advanced out of committee in 2022. Sen. Schumer never brought them up for a floor vote. There is now a push for them to be brought up, once again.

Ossoff voted in favor of advancing the legislation. But …behind closed doors…the he reportedly pushed back and raised concerns about the bills.

In order to resolve a lawsuit alleging that Google agreed to delete billions of data records that it had monitored of the internet activity of users who believed they were surfing in private, Google agreed to delete billions of data records.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys estimated the agreement’s worth at over $5 billion and as much as $7.8 billion. However, users may still file separate lawsuits for damages even if they don’t receive any compensation.

Ex-Trump aide Hope Hicks expected to testify in former president's New York criminal trial

Hope Hicks, former White House Communications Director, is expected to be a witness for the prosecution re: falsifying business records case goes to trial in NY; currently scheduled for April 15th.

An attorney for Hicks said in 2019 that she'd been unaware of the hush money payment until it became public. But an FBI agent who'd been investigating Cohen said in an affidavit for Cohen's federal criminal case said he believed Hicks was involved in the negotiations to prevent Daniels from going public with her claim.

Alleged squatters serve up $25 Shake Shack receipt to claim $930K NYC home is legally theirs

Rondie L. Francis and Lance Hunt sued Denis Kurlyand and Juliya Fulmanof, the owners of the duplex in Jamaica, Queens, on March 14 after they were kicked out of the property.

The two alleged squatters presented a $25 Shake Shack receipt among several pieces of evidence they claim shows they have legal rights to live in a $930,000 New York home.

Francis and Hunt claim they have a lease, paid rent and have been illegally locked out.

4.) It threatened “the market for the competing pipeline patented pharmaceuticals like Paxlovid and Molnupiravir and Remdesivir, and they’ve made many billions off of those.”

5.) Too cheap to make money off of. Dr. Michael Turner says Ivermectin costs merely “$24 to save one life from COVID.”

6.) “This pandemic would have been over if everybody was on ivermectin, and that’s why they had to destroy it.”
