Over 1.2 MILLION foreign nationals living in US under Biden's 'temporary' amnesty program
Under TPS, immigrants from certain countries deemed unsafe to return to, for reasons varying from terrorism, political conditions, violence, economic concerns, or natural disasters, are given the ability to reside and work in the US for a period of 18 months. While those who wish to become permanent residents or citizens must still go through the proper channels like everyone else.
But…TPS can be renewed indefinitely.
According to PEW, Donald Trump attempted to nix the program entirely. Since taking office, the current administration has increased the number of eligible countries to 16.
The list originally included:
El Salvador
Haiti
Honduras
Nepal
Nicaragua
Somalia
South Sudan
Sudan
Syria
Yemen
Biden admin has added:
Afghanistan
Cameroon
Ethiopia
Myanmar
Ukraine
Venezuela
TPS beneficiaries are currently living in all 50 states, DC, and US territories. The largest populations can be found in New York, Texas, California, and Florida.

RNC Chair Michael Whatley announced plans for Republicans to "be in the room" when votes are cast and counted in November to prevent a repeat of controversies from the 2020 election.
Mr. Whatley stated that the RNC will have legal representation standing by.
The 2024 election is looking to be a testing ground for legal battles that will define how elections are conducted for many years in the future.

“Senator Lindsey Graham is doing a great disservice to the Republican Party, and to our Country,” Trump said in his post and goes on to say how Graham’s stance on abortion keeps changing.
Trump stated that Graham should spend less time focusing on the topic of abortion and "spend more time focusing on all of the many people being killed because of our now non-existent Border, and the millions of people dying in senseless, never-ending Wars that he constantly favors and promotes."

President Joe Biden’s personal attorney is leading a bipartisan group of former senior national security and legal officials that is urging Congress to reform the Insurrection Act, which allows the president to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard forces to suppress domestic unrest.
