California lawmaker unveils 'Genealogy Office' to decide who's REALLY descended from slaves and wins reparations payouts

California's first-in-the-nation ‘reparations task force’ last year decided that some residents should win $1.2 million payouts as compensation for injustices from the slavery era onwards. But, thy are struggling with the reality of implementation.

“Steven Bradford, a Democratic state Senator for LA County, proposed bill SB 1403 to create a controversial ‘genealogy unit’ to 'confirm reparations eligibility' of applicants.”

The planned genealogy team would 'support potential reparations claimants by providing access to expert genealogical research to confirm reparations eligibility,' according to the bill It would also offer expedited assistance to those eligible.

It refers to 'restitution specifically to the descendants of chattel enslaved persons and free black persons living in the US prior to the end of the 19th century.' 

The bill passed the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this month.

Bob Menendez Poised to Throw Wife Under the Bus With 'She Did It!' Defense in Bribery Trial

Lawyers for Menendez asked a U.S. judge to try him separately from his wife, Nadine, last March.

They are accused of accepting bribes of cash, gold bars, and a car to help three businessmen from the Egyptian government. Menendez is also charged with acting as a foreign agent of Egypt.

According to unsealed passages of a court filing, Menendez plans to testify about what he believes were exculpatory communications with his wife, if he decides to take the witness stand in his defense.

Biden threatened to triple the rates of tariffs on steel and aluminum from China amid pressure from labor unions concerned about the survival of the U.S. steel industry, as Chinese exports flood the global markets.

Biden Admin to Reimpose Sanctions on Venezuelan Oil That Were Started by Trump

Not only did the Biden White House lift the sanctions against Maduro's government in Oct. 2023, but it also handed back one of Maduro's key allies in a December prisoner swap.

And now…, the Biden administration announced today that it is reimposing sanctions on Venezuelan oil.

Why? Venezuela has not progressed enough toward free and fair elections, and as a result, the administration is reimposing the sanctions that were lifted in October. 

Guess who originally imposed the oil sanctions on Maduro? Former President Donald Trump:

In 2019, the Trump administration imposed new sanctions on Venezuela’s state-owned oil company in an attempt to pressure Maduro to give up power.

Jewish Columbia University student who was suspended for using 'fart spray' sues the school as president doubles down on allowing Palestine protesters

The university charged the plaintiff with harassment, disruptive behavior, and endangerment, the lawsuit said.

The recent lawsuit against Columbia accused the school of a breach of contract under the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, New York Executive Law, New York Civil Rights Law, and New York City Administrative Code. 

It also said the plaintiff has received death threats on social media since the incident which has made him 'distance himself from loved ones,' and forced him to vacate his apartment. 

“As a result of Columbia’s flawed and biased investigation and adjudication process, Plaintiff was found responsible for disruptive behavior, harassment, and endangerment, and sanctioned to suspension from the University, forever marring his educational file with an improper finding of responsibility’…'[The] plaintiff’s actions were a harmless expression of speech to demonstrate discontent with the pro-Hamas pro-Palestine message through the use of a gag gift, and nothing further…”
