Mike Johnson told us REPEATEDLY no Ukraine money without border security. We've gotten the exact opposite.

He came out with 4 bills:

$61 billion for Ukraine
$26 billion for Israel
$8 billion for Taiwan
+ banning TikTok, and a Ukraine loan

Then, only AFTER "considerable feedback from members" did he offer up a 5th bill on the border, we're told it's some semblance of H.R. 2, which will be ignored by the Senate.

A Pennsylvania bill would interfere with parents’ right to make medical decisions for their children by making it more difficult for parents to claim the religious exemption to school immunization requirements. Please contact your state senators and ask them to oppose SB 390.

In February, six Pennsylvania senators filed SB 390, a bill to amend the law for obtaining a religious exemption to the state’s school immunization requirements.[1] Pennsylvania’s school immunization requirements specifically apply to home education programs, so this bill would also affect homeschoolers.

Pennsylvania’s immunization law currently requires a “written objection” stating a parent’s religious grounds for objecting to the vaccination.[2] The Administrative Code also allows for a philosophical exemption “similar to a religious belief.”[3] A space on the current certificate of immunization (the green and white card) provides for a one-time “statement of exemption to immunization law.”[4]

While HB 390 would specifically codify an “objection of religious belief or moral or ethical conviction,” it would also enact much more stringent requirements for claiming any non-medical exemption. The new subsection would require, (1) the Department of Health to create a new, separate form for the written objection, which (2) must be signed by a person authorized to administer immunizations to (3) certify that they “provided the parent or guardian of the child with scientifically accepted information prescribed by the Department of Health on the benefits and risks of immunization.”[5]

This immediately presents some problems:A medical professional would be required to be involved for parents to claim even a non-medical exemption.
Medical professionals could refuse to sign it.
Other requirements in the bill are alarmingly vague:It is not clear to whom exemption forms must be “submitted.”
The form does not yet exist and could require additional invasive information, especially if it must be filed electronically.

The deadline for renewal is tomorrow, April 19th.

In a 67-32 vote, the Senate invoked cloture, allowing debate to begin on the bill.  

✔️The amendment to require warrants before picking up conversations of those on U.S. soil who communicate with suspected terrorists failed.

✔️An amendment from Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) that would require the FBI to provide quarterly reports about how many Americans had been queried under 702 passed and was added to the bill. 

✔️Crenshaw's amendment to allow international drug traffickers to be queried under 702, in addition to terrorists, was added to the bill.
