Truth Social CEO calls on House to investigate potential 'unlawful manipulation of DJT stock'

Devin Nunes, in a letter to the committee, pointed out that DJT [the initials for Donald J. Trump] has appeared every day since April 2 on Nasdaq’s "Reg SHO threshold list," which he said is "indicative of unlawful trading activity."

Nunes continued to explain: “This is particularly troubling given that 'naked' short selling often entails sophisticated market participants profiting at the expense of retail investors…Reports indicate that, as of April 3, 2024, DJT was the single most expensive stock to short in U.S. markets …meaning that brokers have a significant financial incentive to lend non-existent shares."

He also wrote “…just four market participants have been responsible for over 60% of the extraordinary volume of DJT shares traded:

Citadel Securities
VIRTU Americas
G1 Execution Services
Jane Street Capital."

He argued that "such an inquiry is needed to protect shareholders, including TMTG’s retail investors" and might also "shed light on the need for policy changes…”

Netanyahu released a statement condemning the rise of what he termed as "antisemitic mobs" on American college campuses. The prime minister compared what is happening on American college campuses to what happened in Germany in the '30s, and demanded that the colleges take action.

He called the events unfolding on American college campuses "horrific."

X Will Be Launching App For Smart TVs, ‘Similar To Youtube TV’

The new app “is changing everything,” according to X CEO Linda Yaccarino, who also stated that it “will be your go-to companion for a high-quality, immersive entertainment experience on a larger screen”

She also outlined the app’s capabilities, which include a customized algorithm for content delivery, artificial intelligence (AI) video organization, cross-device compatibility, and more.

According to Yaccarino, the app will work with “most smart TVs” and enable casting from mobile devices to bigger screens.

X’s video app reportedly will first be available exclusively for Amazon and Samsung smart TVs. No official date has been given for its release.

BREAKING: A Grand Jury has indicted 11 Republicans who submitted a document to Congress declaring that Donald Trump beat Joe Biden in Arizona in the 2020 presidential election

The 11 people were nominated to be Arizona’s Republican electors met in Phoenix on Dec. 14, 2020, to sign a certificate saying they were “duly elected and qualified” electors and claiming that Trump carried the state.

The document was later sent to Congress and the National Archives, where it was ignored.

Seven others were indicted, but their names were blacked out of records released by Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes. Her office said the names will be released after those people are served with the charges.

‘Extreme And Unlawful Overreach’: Biden Admin Unveils Final Plan To Push Climate Agenda On America’s Power Grid

The Biden administration claims that the rules are major actions to fight climate change that will not affect the grid’s reliability… but…energy sector experts are warning that the rules could cause serious reliability issues that would harm the American economy.

The rules include:

✔️A requirement for the country’s coal plants and new natural gas plants to install carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology to capture 90% of their carbon emissions in order to continue operations past 2039
✔️A measure to tighten mercury emissions standards for existing coal-fired plants by 70%
✔️Reduce pollutants in the wastewater that coal-fired plants produce

Dustin Meyer, API’s Senior VP made recommendations:

“The administration should instead focus on removing barriers to building new generation capacity and fixing our broken permitting process to allow for the development of critical infrastructure, including carbon capture and hydrogen technologies, to keep the lights on for the American people.”

The House Oversight and Accountability Committee were concerned that EPA’s power plant rules had serious practical and legal shortcomings.

With the judges voting 4-3 , the conviction was overturned based on the argument that the trial judge had erred by allowing testimony from women not among the trio who filed the complaint against him.
