unscheudled reminder that "if you are depressed you are living in the past, if you have anxiety you are living in the future" is complete bullshit
it is again time for me to give a bunch of anonymous nerds the chance of having substantial influence on my life
if i dont screw up the course big time, "too depressed to go to class for two months" or "called a certain teacher a piece of shit, even though thats bad for my grades, even though she really is" levels of screwing up, i got the chance of going into erasmus aka "school gives u money and sends you to other country to let you finish your studying thing there for some months". it has a selection procedure etc but the competence is hmm not very worrying. ppl around here is just worried with not failing class, so very far from caring about good grades. to me class is boring because it is way to slow because the weakest link in the chain etc etc. im not whining but the selecion process doesnt really worry me, like at all.
thing is, i kinda have reasons to not do so. namely vengeance (not gonna talk about it) and the fact that im deaf as shit and, even though i know enough english to speak it bad and i can understand getto english and stuff, hearing it and actually understanding it may be a big problem for me. i had to hardcode my brain into spanish speaking patterns to be able to understand ppl, im not sure at all if i could switch that stuff to also accept a language that i never really had the chance of speaking out loud with someone.
so tl;dr im torn between saying "yes" or saying "nah". but like sonic i gotta go fast on this one, because the time window for saying "yes or nah" is hmm "this was supposed to be sent today, but i guess we could wait until the end of the month at max"
also do anyone has any tips on how to get the monei from "studying" into my pocket on such a scenario because they werent specific at all on that matter (justify money spending and such) and i really could give it some use. they said that a visit to a restaurant could be justified and paid for, as long as we presented the ticket. but i would rather just buy cheap food and use the "restaurant" money into, well, things that need some money, like meds for myself or for a friend's cat that has gotten used to get sick in randm and expensive ways every few months
