this feels like the opposite of euthanizing, this laptop was already dead and very okay with knowing itself dead, but then i come to save it and drag it again to life in the same fashion a merciless parent drags a kid outside of the bed to go to church early in the morning on a sunday (the kid ends up being atheist)

okay i have decided that the ram is in fact in working condition and doesnt need to be tested
the ram may or may not possibly be in less than optimal conditions
may explain why the computer keeps doing this thing. i hope. because if it isnt the ram, its gonna be substantially harder to fix
