Don't be a friggin dumbass like me: if you have any meds you need to take daily - make sure you have a bottle of them or whatever in your bag at all times, and only use when you don't have any in your home/you're not at home. It will save you a lot of skipped doses when you're staying over somewhere, or you forget to buy a new bottle.

this happens to me, a lot, and even more in forests. i have almost been punched a fair amount of times because of it. i *try* to make noise to not scare ppl when im not sure they noticed my presence, for example when there is a small group of 2-3 ppl going in the same direction i am and im weirdly walking behind them, but it never works. they scream and curse. i surprise animals as well from time to time (and they surprise me back because i dont see them most times until they are too close and get scared of me and react)
i enjoy silence, but i honestly expected forest animals to be better than me, a deafish being, at detecting and evading noises.

sometimes sitting in silence in the middle of some forest for hours can be rewarding. it was worth the "ohh big herbivore, so close, didnt even see me", it was not worth the "im not sure that was a plant eater but it sure was big and its almost night already i better get going the fucj outta here right now"
i wish there were more forests everywhere and i didnt have to travel hours to see one
