bit of personal drama here but whatever. im having hardcore internet access problems. telegram kinda works, only for text messages, and with remarkable delay. sometimes just a min, sometimes some hours. my father, the person who pays for and manages the internet access of this house, decided he is bored and he is going on some trip or something, i dont know the details but he wont be in my house for some time. a week, two, who knows.

some minutes ago, he picked up the phone. apparently, the isp is finally going to send someone to check this thing. he asked me if i would be home tomorrow evening, and i said no. he proceeded to raise the phone back and reply "yes tomorrow evening is perfect". he made it so that is is my fault for not being avaliable, but whatever, just how it is with assholes i guess. the thing is that he wont be here by tomorrow and neither will i, and so, whoever comes here tomorrow to check the internet problems thing wont have anyone to open him.

key points here:
-the problem is not inside my house. the problem is somewhere on the network of the isp, at some point outside of my house. so sending someone to check my house wasnt gonna go anywhere anyway

-"isp" means "internet service provider". i probably should have mentioned that before for the ppl who dont know it

-im deaf-ish (its complex, but esentially im half deaf) and i cant hear shit. so i cant make or recieve phone calls. including to/from the isp. so the problem is absolutely frozen for now. and also im a bit incomunicated lately, but at least not completely.

-i have online classes shit and if i fail the course only because the last week i couldnt send/recieve files, im gonna angry.


and finally:
-since i cant download images at all, much less anything else (really, i can only download/upload text messages, and only on telegram. this thing for some reason works, it doesnt drop connection because too slow or after three retries or whatever), and of course i cant upload anything, this channel is gonna get frozen i guess. i dont know for how long but things are how they are. i have no intention of abandoning it, but for now it is gonna be empty i guess

and also:
-the first person to appear on my DM's with magic solution "use your phone as AP" is gonna get either a mean response or a block, temporary or permanent. im in no mood now and i have had too many of that by this point. im not even gonna argue the reasons why, im just not going to use my phone to access internet and that is final.



-i technically have internet on my phone, but among other reasons, i have "ouch my fucjing hands and wrists" syndrome and i cant use it for anything longer than five lines of text without going "ouch my fucjing hands and wrists". also i never developed any habit of using phones so i type ridiculously slow, but thats another thing. i may use it to post some very isolated stuff but i probaly wont

i may have internet again. i cant know if it will last, if it is somewhat fixed or not, and im not really use it for anything right now anyway. but not bad, the isp only needed about 20 days to make internet work in my house, and i only had to teach their technicians what a ping is like three times. and what the cmd is, how to open it, how to end a command there, etc. or what the dns servers of google are. i didnt have the energy in me to explain what cloudflare is, and why they should at least have read the name before.

i can understand that ppl dont know informatic. but when someone that is being paid for, calls me for help multiple times because they "cant type here" without noticing they have the window unfocused, when they clearly havent inputted a single command in their lifes without a gui, i start to reconsider if the IT world is really as stressful as my brains constantly tries to remind me. im not a pro at this, but i think i could do in less than an hour what a whole company with multiple professionals has needed 20 days to do properly. it is not badly paid. but then again, IT work requires me to either make code or interact with humans, and im not a fan of either of those, so im good where i am. far from any world that works in binary, as far as i can be.

there was a time when i was sure i could never work fixing computer stuffs because "what if i dont know how to fix something, or what if it is just unfixable for some reason? i dont know what i could do or say then, so i could never work as a fixer of stuff". but the more i see of this world, the less important "knowing anything at all about what you're doing" looks, and anyway there are too many ppl in this world and most of them look like they enjoy passing problems down, "you have to talk with *other person*, i am not allowed to help you on this" or stuff like that. anyway. end of the rant i guess
