RUMBLE CEO FLEES THE EUROPEAN UNION AFTER TELEGRAM CEO'S ARREST:

The assault on free speech platforms continues, with Chris Pavlovski, the CEO of Rumble fleeing the European Union in the wake of Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov's arrest by French authorities.

Rumble has also fallen foul of French censorship in recent times and has been subject to a long-running legal battle with French authorities after the platform refused to deplatform Russian accounts subject to EU censorship regarding the special military operation in Ukraine.

As such, the move to arrest the Telegram CEO on the basis of failing to moderate content, triggered the decision of Rumble's CEO to depart the region for fear of similar treatment.

Pavlovski took to X on Sunday to say that he had "safely departed from Europe". He also criticised the arrest of Durov as having "crossed a red line" and commented that France had also threatened his own platform.

According to Pavlovski:

"Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. We are currently fighting in the courts of France, and we hope for Pavel Durov's immediate release".

Lowering oneself to ad hominem attacks and emotional rhetoric to avoid true and honest debate is a leftist tactic that ought to be avoided at all cost, lest society fall even further than it already has.

Our chat gets criticized for being too rough and tumble, but we also get criticized for taking action against liars, spammers and disrupters when they have gone too far.

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY RESEARCHING 'ENTOMOPHAGY' IN MAORI CULTURE:

We all know the globalists want us to "eat zeee bugs" as part of the woke, eco-socialist agenda. But how many of us realised there is a legit word for that?! Entomophagy apparently, is the scientific term which refers to the study of creepy crawly things that find their way on to the menu.

One PhD student at Lincoln University has made the study of entomophagy within Maori culture the subject of their PhD research, with a paper exploring Maori attitudes toward the practice already published.

Over 180 people were surveyed in the course of the research, with 40% reportedly recognising insects as a significant food source. 87% were also apparently willing to eat insects, whether whole or processed.

The next phase of the research involves exploring three different caterpillars as a potential protein source.

Elon Musk’s Starlink has announced that Brazil’s top judge has ordered the company’s financial accounts in the country to be blocked, amid an ongoing feud over the social media platform X.

Starlink, Musk’s satellite internet operator, said on Thursday it had received an order from Brazil’s Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes that “freezes Starlink’s finances and prevents Starlink from conducting financial transactions” in the country.

The court’s decision to sanction Starlink is a response to the lack of legal representatives in Brazil for X, a court source told Reuters.

The Swiss government, however, recently ordered a group of so-called 'experts' to compile a report for the Defense Ministry on national security issues, which is already being criticised as unconstitutional.

The committee, which was set up a year ago, has made 100 recommendations this week regarding national security, which includes calls to revise the nation's constitutional neutrality. Closer cooperation with the EU and NATO were also part of the recommendations.

The majority of the committee also supported the repeal of the 1998 ban on the re-export of arms to countries that are at war. This ban has previously hampered the warmongers in Europe who have wanted to supply Ukraine with armaments.

In response to the paper, the opposition Swiss People's Party have stated that: "It is an open secret that... Amherd wants to destroy Swiss neutrality and throw herself into the arms of NATO and the EU".

Teacher, Enoch Burke arrested again in Ireland for protecting children from transgender ideology and big pharma abuse.

Enoch Burke told the judge he would answer to God for imprisoning someone for their religious beliefs.

The High Court has jailed secondary school teacher Enoch Burke for a third time for breaching a court order.

Mr Justice Michael Quinn said he was satisfied Mr Burke was acting in breach of the permanent injunction granted a year ago and was in contempt of court.

He ordered him to be committed again to Mountjoy Prison until he purges his contempt.

The judge listed the matter again for 11 October but he said Mr Burke could come into court at any point if he wanted to purge his contempt.

Mr Burke told the judge he would answer to God for imprisoning someone for their religious beliefs.

Mr Burke has already spent more than 400 days in Mountjoy Prison on two previous occasions for failing to obey an injunction directing him to stay away from Wilson's Hospital School in Co Westmeath.

He was released in late June after the school closed for the summer holidays.

But the court heard he has been attending at the school again since it reopened last month.
Mr Burke was sacked from the school in January 2023 but he has appealed the dismissal and remains on full pay pending the hearing of the appeal.

The High Court heard the disciplinary panel has not yet convened to hear the appeal, because legal proceedings by Mr Burke connected to the appeal are still before the Court of Appeal.

The court was told Mr Burke’s presence at the school since 22 August has been stressful for staff and disruptive for staff and students.
