I dont know if he appears in the epilogue (HOPING 🙏) but i wish theyd show more of javier in the game, i wish we could see more of his thoughts and views :( i guess i can see why he sided with dutch but im also so very confused about it at the same time. Let me get inside of his brain PLEASE!!!! i need to examine him .
Like. I realised that in the last train heist quest javier is with dutch when he leaves john to die after he gets shot. Javier sees that. And he doesnt question it???????? Does he question it????? How does he feel???? How does he feel when john comes back to the camp ???? Does he feel any doubts?? He did in the beggining thats for sure there are many things pointing at that what changed at the end then. AUGGH do i just not get him as a character? Maybe

Actually yeah Javier did point his gun in the sky in that "last confrontation of the entire gang" scene. He didnt point it at john and arthur unlike others ..oh ....ohhh..... Theres so much to think about with this guy

Rockstar did this to themselves when writing javier in rdr2 because his change in chapter 6 altho logical felt extremely rushed and out of nowhere. I do see why he would side eith dutch but while playing the game i felt like he was on the same path as arthur or john in terms of his loyalty to dutch and the gang ..... But i guess it can be explained ? Like javier surely doubts dutch but maybe out of some sort of fear he pushes these feelings away and acts the way he does in chapter 6 out of some desperation, clinging on to "loyalty" because thats all he knows. dutch and the gang is all he has he probably didnt want to lose it :[ i just wish we saw more of him!!!

Watching javiers interactions with others in camp in chapter 6 is like jaw on the floor i have no words holy hell whadahell he sounds just like dutch im falling on the floor sobbing javier was too loyal
