I'm not going to post this in the Pandora Telegram because it's my personal biased opinion but I'm going to post this here because it's my alpha channel and people are asking me a ton.
A lot of people are asking about new ERC404 projects that are launching, especially ANON and whether we're affiliated or if I'm bullish, so here's my take.
Personally I'm very bullish on ERC404 in general now that we're in full blown adoption phase, but I think a lot of people will get rekt aping beta plays and new projects since many will probably be capitalizing on hype for short term gains and many will also see a lot of people trying to play rotation games and holding short term.
I think there's opportunity as a trader here if you're in and out quickly, but obviously despite being the founder and therefor being very biased by long term bet is on Pandora. This isn't just because it's mine, we've always seen first movers being the best place to bet your chips and I'd compare ORDI and BRC20s to this as a solid example of how things usually play out.
Pandora is not affiliated with anon and the devs seem like solid guys but I don't know them and therefor can't vouch or risk my rep or Pandora's rep on a rumor like that. We expected some sort of airdrop for holders or partnership based on the conversation we had with them after shouting them out as the first people building something on ERC404 and giving them some help on development, but that hasn't materialized as of yet, so the rumors about a partnership or any sort of airdrop etcetera on both ends are not true and are just rumors right now.
My focus in the ERC404 space remains entirely on Pandora right now, with the only potential exception being any really serious players, innovative projects, or professional protocols that potentially emerge at some point. The only thing I'm even considering aping that's an emerging ERC404 right now is CFW's collection since I like him as an artist and know he's legit.
Be wary of random new projects using my name or my project's name to try to garner clout in the future. I fully support every single legitimate builder that wants to make something decent and put the effort into a project using ERC404 and I know how necessary it is that there are other winners too if we want to see a real ecosystem, but usually there are 5 grifts and nothingburgers for every 1 meaningful project that emerges and I don't want to see people in my own gc getting rekt by them.
