What is Crowd Ctrl?

If you're this early you probably already know me so I will save you the yapping. Here's a quick FAQ instead to get situated.

Here you'll find the stuff that I don't post on Twitter, which honestly is probably close to 90% of the shit that I do both on and off chain. I curate my Twitter carefully and only really share "alpha" when I feel like it won't hurt my engagement since nobody really wants to see a bunch of rambling about 10 projects per day and I'm not really the threadoor sort of account, so you'll probably find a lot more activity here if you want to keep up with my trades and see what I'm up to.

Is this a channel for calls?

This is a good place to find calls if that's your thing, but I've never been the "KOL" type and if I saw the day that I became one I'd probably violently blow my brains out.

You can safely assume that anything I share here is actually of my own volition. In the rare event that it's not, you can assume that it's something that I would have suggested and risked my own money in regardless, which is the only event in which I'd entertain an offer and do anything paid. I'd also disclose that. I will never shill anything that is explicitly obvious garbage for compensation or allocation. That being said if it's not garbage and you want to pay me please go right ahead.

What will you post about?

I'll adapt over time to make sure I'm focusing on content that you guys are actually interested in, but for now I'm approaching this as if it's a less filtered and more rapid fire version of my Twitter. For every one thing I tweet about, there are probably 20 things worth sharing that I don't bother tweeting about because I'm too lazy to sit down and draft something eloquent or punchy. This is more like a raw trading journal / think tank. It probably won't be all crypto, and it probably won't all be alpha. It's just shit I think you should care about with the occasional shitpost / nothingburger sprinkled in.

Ultimately the stuff in here is freely accessible to anyone, so the one thing I'd ask of you would be to share this around to anyone who might be interested. I think most Telegram channels are pretty low quality and are usually the last places I'd look to for quality information. I'd like for this to be an exception. Analysis

Most of you already know that I have big bags in $TOPJ. At the highs, my bag was worth around 1200 SOL so the fact that I'm still holding 80% of it should say something.

My thesis is pretty simple. It's the same formula I usually use and it's why I have a high hitrate on shitcoins.

Is the meme amusing with potential for further virality ✔️
Are the devs competent and incentivized enough to want to continue pushing the token further ✔️
Are there near term catalysts that the developers can still leverage for new volume ✔️

The actual Top Jeet, https://twitter.com/amanjagtapp, has a 5 figure bag of the token which is probably worth about 1 gorillion dollars in his local currency. The developers have since learned that he is a degen, and would rather try to push that to 5 gorillion dollars instead of cashing out and escaping the jeetrix.

The top jeet is incentivized to continue promoting this, and the developers understand that this is the bull case for their token and will continue to incentivize him to push it. Coins have a much shorter lifespan than "main characters", especially when this is an account that's still exploding in popularity and not one that's already plateaued. He will continue to promote this project as a way for people to support him, and that in tandem with his accounts rapid growth will compound new volume and more $TOPJ holders.

A lot of large accounts across ct and "money twitter", as well as a lot of influencers (i.e. Sneako) have followed him recently and a few have already reached out to push this because they saw that HE promoted it, not the devs. One thing that's important to know about influencers like Ansem, OSF, etcetera is that the only way to get them to push your token is to create something that they'll actually organically enjoy. If they don't want your meme to explode just for shits and giggles no money will make them push it.

A lot of those guys follow and think Top Jeet is funny, so there's a good chance people organically push this both for fun and because it directly supports Top Jeet and we're getting a funny Indian out of the hood.

I shared this under 150k. I said I wasn't taking any off the top until 2M+, and I stuck to that until 2.5. I think it has legs for sustained growth from here and I think this is a 7 figure coin.

$ONDO

Analysis

I'm very bullish on $ONDO in both the near and long term, and have entered a position of about ~100K with a cost basis of around 0.27

Ondo Finance is an RWA (Real World Assets) project backed by Pantera, Coinbase Ventures, and Founders fund that is tokenizing quality RWAs with an emphasis on regulatory clarity.

I see a lot of debate from people chasing narratives trying to figure out whether RWA, AI, DePIN, DeSci, SocialFi etcetera is the narrative with staying power that can run hot but in my opinion I firmly believe that RWA is the current nascent "thing" and AI will probably follow but is still a bit too early.

The founder & CEO, Nathan Allman, did 2 years at GS working in digital assets. Translation being that he has an institutional background in RWAs. Mind you, 2019-2021 was quite early in this regard and thus I see him as a competent first mover in the sector and not someone rushing to capitalize on the niche now that it's an emergent narrative in an increasingly regulated market.

If you were early to Solana you might know this playbook. Token launches with high FDV, very low circulating supply. People evaluate based on FDV while disregarding the fact that it's actual market cap is very low when factoring in circ. supply. $ONDO has a FDMC of $2,446,538,668, which a circulating mcap that's only about 15% of this. It still has a lot of room for growth.

They've just announced an APAC expansion which in my opinion is very good news, and I strongly believe in their USDY product as a stablecoin that will see a lot of adoption on account of it's regulatory clarity, overcollateralization, and yield for holders.

I could yap for hours about this one but I think that with Larry Fink shilling tokenization of RWAs on national television and the emerging RWA narrative, $ONDO is a clear winner with a capable team and strong institutional backing when altcoins start to run again. It's showed incredible strength in the past couple of days as the markets have nuked and I believe that when it runs it'll run harder and faster than most people expect.

I'm in at an average of 0.27 for roughly 100k and looking at high targets. In the near term I think this still has room to 2x in better market conditions as it continues to gain traction with speculators. In the long run I expect it to pull Xs, not %s.

Analysis

Honestly this one is such a no brainer to me that nobody else is pricing in so I'm either very early or very wrong.

What if the founder and CEO of Coinbase, Brian Armstrong, launched a token and pushed it? Personally, if it was a shitcoin my targets would be firmly in the 9 figure range. If it was something meaningful with longevity, probably billions with ease.

Brian Armstrong is also the founder and CEO of ResearchHub, a DeSci startup with it's own token - $RSC.

He sold 2% of his Coinbase holdings for >54M USD a while back to pursue the funding and development of scientific research, namely life extension. Philanthropy aside, this is the only thing that I've seen materialize from that.

It is at a market cap of below 30M and is listed on 0 CEXs. Aside from very very tame and boring tweets and the profile being in Brian's bio, he hasn't shilled it at all. He also pledged to remove himself from conversations pertaining to Coinbase listing it.

This, to me, is a very very obvious play with potential for massive returns. Someone in Brian's position has two obligations here. One is to market and ensure the success of his new start-up and it's underlying token. The other is to avoid reputational damage or accusations of bias by doing so in a way that's explicit and makes it seem like a total insider shitshow with him shilling a token or throwing it on Coinbase hastily, especially while there is an ongoing court case with the SEC.

I think it's a matter of when, not if, this token melts faces. I've never seen a more surefire narrative waiting to happen than "It's Brian Armstrong's token". At 30M it's practically unbelievable to me and the fact that most people haven't heard of this and don't know that it's his project confirms that. He's a smart guy and understands that his job is to make sure that this works without risking reputational damage. If he wasn't capable of doing that he wouldn't have started a new side project in crypto in the first place. The fact that it's explicitly for a good / morally righteous cause isn't a coincidence either, it makes it a million times easier to justify doing this without PR backlash.

Brian is going to be on BanklessHQ talking about $RSC and ResearchHub this Thursday. That's not an impressive catalyst to me, but it's important because it could either be enough exposure for the narrative to pick up, or signal that he intends to ramp up publicity and marketing soon.

I literally don't care if the utility of the token is that you die instantly if you buy it. If Brian Armstrong has a token that hasn't pumped and is sitting at a lower market cap than drake memecoins and a picture of a dog wearing a hat I'm bidding with size. If you are patient this one might make you a lot of money. I would not be shocked to wake up one day with this sitting at 10x it's current price.

I'm in with 10 ETH at $0.29 and holding until the day that happens.
