Ok immediately after posting this I am seeing that Charlotte Fang has tweeted the $TOPJ copypasta we are sending.
That’s organic traction. Much more important than coin influencer backing. I think this is going higher for longer.

Update on $TOPJ We’re up pretty nicely from my initial call and continuing to grind upwards. I expect more of this throughout the day. As bullish as I am I’m still honestly shocked that we held a range this high through the night while dev slept without…
Holy fuck when I said exciting day I didn’t mean before 9 am what the fuck is going on.

I procrastinated writing my post about the $VEC lbp at $12 and now I’m on a flight and missed launch and it’s at $19 💀
More detailed write up when I get home but for the record I am still a buyer at these egregious prices. There is a decent chance that you can wait for a better entry but to be safe I’ll recommend DCA as usual. Lots of thoughts to share when I’m home. Risk 7/10 but good R/R imo

Alright now that I'm back home let's talk a little bit more about Vector / $VEC
$VEC
Analysis
As I said earlier, Vector is a project I've been researching and watching carefully since early in their LBP. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to give you guys the entry I intended to at around $12, but I said earlier at $19 that it was still an attractive buy and I feel the same way here at $23.
You'll have an easier time understanding what Vector does if you've been keeping up at all with the Eigenlayer / LST & LRT narratives. If you don't, I'll leave the research to those that care because this will be a very long message if I have to explain all of the above and then try to explain liquidity position derivatives and advanced ponzinomics to a bunch of degenerates.
To give a tl;dr for the rest of you, it's basically a good ponzi that also has first mover's advantage on a few adjacent narratives that are running hot and some really great game theory.
When you hear game theory and ponzi mentioned in crypto your mind probably goes to Ohm, which leads me to my next point.
Vector piqued my interest as something to keep an eye on because I think it's a solid product. It's a good call on that alone. But what got me really hungry for exposure was something that we discovered while discussing the LBP before anyone was really talking about this.
The wallet that created the LBP on Fjord received pOLY (PreOlympus) 1030 days ago. That's a direct connection to the Ohm deployer wallet.
This was a massive piece of info at the time, but people have since began to catch wind of this. That being said, I still don't think it's really priced in at all.
The reason I say that is because people tend to regurgitate information like this without furthering research even when there's merit to dig deeper. So as of right now, a lot of people still don't really know what this means for certain and whether or not it's a nothingburger. Granted, even just with what is known now it's still a pretty big green flag.
On the other hand, I like to dig deep and the more I try to find clues on chain the more confident I am that the team is entirely capable of creating a product like this that will send. I don't think that Ohm is the only meaningful connection here, I'm still trying to untangle stuff but it appears that there's also a potential connection to Shezmu as well as some other hot ponzi stuff. Naturally if I'm early to a project coming from a team with a track record of printing for early participants, I'm an easy buyer. This formula tends to work in my favor.
Some of you may not have the appetite for the actual staking, but regardless of whether or not defi summer ponzis are your thing I think simply buying $VEC might pay off quite well if you time your exit well and don't baghold generational wealth to 0 in classic Ohm fashion.
I'm in for 50K at around $17. Comfy.

I want to experiment with sharing general think pieces and investing insights in here. If you guys like them please let me know, if not I'll try to stick to analysis / calls and opportunities only.
A lot of us are probably too jaded from gripto influencers / pnl larps with brain damage to really take anyone seriously when they claim to be sharing genuine advice or insight but I'd like to help those of you that want to actually improve their performance. I'll start with this.
One piece of advice that I've noticed that 99% of you need after spending the past couple of days in the t.me/thectrlroom group chat is this. Do not take every profitable trade.
It seems like a no-brainer that you should be taking every profitable opportunity that presents itself, but this is one of the most common mistakes I see amongst traders and it has severe consequences. It feels more prevalent now than ever this cycle, so I think you could all use this reminder.
You are not a fucking index fund. If you have conviction in two potential trades, and you are certain that trade A will yield 300%+ returns and trade B will yield 200%+ returns, you do not go 50/50. You do not throw 90% into the former and 10% in the latter to have some exposure. You shove the stack into trade A and forget about trade B.
Too many of you fail to understand this and end up chasing every little thing that has a good thing going for it because you don't want anyone to make a dollar without you. And then you end up with 20 tokens in your portfolio at once, across multiple wallets, and it's so overwhelming and difficult to focus on your trading that you can't even keep up with all of them and you just end up sticking to the 3 you care the most about and letting the rest sit, never touching the ones that go down because maybe they'll go up eventually. And then you become a bagholder.
Sound familiar?
You need to not do that if you want to make it this cycle. You will see people win big on chains you've never used, altcoins you've never heard of, airdrops you don't qualify for, and technology you don't even understand. It does not fucking matter. Do not open 1000 tabs and fry your brain trying to understand hyperliquid quantum omnistaking while researching phygital mongolian NFTs and rehypothecated RWAs.
Your goal is not to hit 100% of the opportunities of this cycle. Your goal is to miss 90% of the opportunities because you were busy making sure that 10% of the bets that you took were right. You will make money if you are correct. Not if you are diversified.
The trading principle of risk-return tradeoff applies to even shitcoins just as much as it does to equities. All you should care about when comparing your adjacent options is risk-return ratio. Find opportunities with good R/R. Study them carefully and find the edge that improves your R/R. Take those bets.
If I find something that I believe has a risk-return ratio of 1:10 and you tell me that I should really get in $BONK because it's going to 2x I'm going to tell you to fuck off. Why the fuck would I put a single dollar into bonk that I could put into my winner.
Diversification is for people that are confused. The less confused you are, the less you'll hold at any given moment. Don't be diversified. Just be right and accept that if you're wrong you'll eat shit and try to improve your judgement before the next winner comes around.

Alright now that I'm back home let's talk a little bit more about Vector / $VEC $VEC Analysis As I said earlier, Vector is a project I've been researching and watching carefully since early in their LBP. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to give you guys…
If you bought $VEC when I posted this, you're welcome.
I'm buying more. The deeper I dig into the project's documentation and mechanics as well as the plethora of interesting on-chain activity involving wallets that were involved in the LBP or buying a lot of this token, the more underexposed I feel.
Judging by the timeline as well as the Vector Telegram people are clearly too distracted with the $VEC price to actually take the time to figure out how the fuck it works. A lot of people are holding off on buying or staking because they're asking the same 10 questions that are already answered clearly in documentation / with 5 minutes of research and a lot of people haven't even heard of this. I think we're actually a lot earlier than I thought we were initially.
It's at $30 now. My advice would be the following.
If you don't want it, don't buy it.
If you want it, but you feel bad about buying it at $30 because you faded the LBP or faded a lower entry, buy it. Looking at how high a chart has gone without you is a dangerous way to gauge the R/R on a trade. Everything about the project aside from the price makes me feel like it's early, and if I made the classic mistake of fading because I didn't buy all the tokens I wanted at $12 in the LBP I wouldn't have bought a ton at $17 that have now nearly 2xed. I'm really liking this trade.

How many ERC20 tokens can you think of that don't subscribe to the standard 18 decimal configuration?
I can't find a single ERC20 token in my wallet aside from $VEC that isn't an 18 decimal token. The only exception I've found is $VEC which only has 9 decimals.
Actually, I can barely even remember ever seeing an ERC token that wasn't an 18 decimal token. The only token that comes to mind is $OHM which only had 9 decimals.
I just added to my position.

Pick the option that you feel most aligned with in response to the following statement:
"At Ohm's ATH one $VEC would be $6935"
A. Noooooo $VEC would never reach $OHM's market cap it's so over this is the top there will never be another Ohm
B. If the Vector ponzi manages to pull off even 14% of the numbers that the Olympus ponzi did this token would go to $1000
If you chose A you need to sell everything and hit the oil rig.

Update on $VEC with some FAQ for those of you that have been asking. You can also feel free to reach out in the gc or to me directly since I know this stuff is confusing and a lot is still unclear.
On a side note, I spoke at length with the team today and brought them some proposals for UX/UI improvements and they were very receptive and keen to improve UX! I'm very bullish on this, especially considering how much capital seems to be sidelined and confused because it's still too early for there to be an abundance of accessible information on how this stuff works. It's not that complicated if you're willing to put in the research, but it's crypto so most people aren't. Team seems very intelligent.
Let's start with FAQ
Is there an unstaking period if I stake?
No. Staked VEC can be unstaked at any time for VEC, and svETH can be unstaked for vETH as well. If you hold either I don't see any downside to staking.
How do svETH rewards work?
Ok so this one is interesting. A lot of people were confused and think that svETH is not actively yielding rewards, but it is. You do not receive additional svETH. The value of svETH is raised after every epoch, meaning that the conversion from svETH to vETH is no longer 1:1. Depending on the conversion rate when you unstake, you receive more vETH than the svETH you're unstaking. currently the value of svETH is 1.002 vETH
What are bonds?
Today, Vector released bonds. This actually seems to solve some of the challenges that Ohm / Olympus faced, and allow you to purchase bonds to aid the protocol in bolstering liquidity & collateralization and get rewarded with discounted $VEC. Bonds are issued on a 7 day vesting term and have varying 7 day ROIs depending on the underlying asset pair.
Can I exchange vETH back to ETH?
Contrary to popular belief, yes. You can swap your vETH using Curve Finance. Curve also has pretty good APY right low for providers.
Is Vector audited?
Yes. I've confirmed that the protocol has been audited by an independent auditor, with another independent audit as well as a full scale audit with a trusted firm on the way. These things take time, especially when done with firms, but I'm quite confident in the platform and have 10 vETH staked as well as 3000 VEC.
Where should I be focusing my capital to profit the most from this?
Currently I recommend keeping it simple and waiting for things to continue to play out. Buy $VEC and stake it. I have some vETH staked, but I'm personally not touching bonds for the time being and recommend that you stick to $VEC unless you understand DeFi and have more capital to allocate. I think that holding spot $VEC and earning yield with it is still very lucrative for the time being, but in the future you may want to explore other facets of the protocol as well to maximize your returns.
Currently still holding $VEC and accumulating slowly on dips. Staking 10 vETH. Not farming Curve pool or bonds but I'll update if that changes.

Volume was low and chart was pretty flat.
I push one thread and FAQ and VEC is now pumping again.
I'm not even a big account or "influencer". I'm not taking credit for the whole move, but I genuinely believe a lot of that is sidelined capital coming in now that they have clarity on mechanics.
Once Vector improves UI for clarity and more people pick up on this and spread information to make it more accessible I'm convinced we can rip much higher.

So we know for a fact that the developers have both the pedigree and the network, + tailrisks related to protocol security just became negligible
