Details:

The new UXLINK contract will be deployed on the Ethereum mainnet, with a total supply of 1 billion tokens, and will be swapped 1:1 with the old UXLINK contract. The contract dropped the mint-burn function and we will use cross-chain partners’ service to remain a cross-chain feature.
The migration plan consists of two parts: one for CEX (centralized exchanges) and one for on-chain users.

CEX Migration Plan
1.1 CEXs will count the total amount of UXLINK currently held within their platforms.
1.2 CEXs will calculate the amount of UXLINK that was deposited by suspected hacker addresses.
1.3 CEXs will provide a wallet address to receive the new UXLINK tokens.
1.4 UXLINK will transfer the new contract tokens to the exchange wallet — the amount transferred will be the total UXLINK on the exchange minus the amount deposited by hacker addresses.
1.5 CEXs will calculate how much UXLINK was sold by suspected hacker accounts on the exchange, as well as the amount of other assets received in return (e.g., USDT, USDC, ETH, BTC, etc.).
1.6 CEXs will, according to legal procedures, convert the frozen assets from suspected hackers back into UXLINK.
1.7 UXLINK will compensate legitimate users who were involved in these transactions with the new UXLINK tokens on a 1:1 basis.

On-Chain User Migration Plan
2.1 A snapshot will be taken at the timestamp of the hacker’s first transfer; normal users holding UXLINK before this time will be eligible for 1:1 redemption.
2.2 An on-chain redemption tool will be developed, allowing users to swap via their holding wallets.
2.3 UXLINK Treasury will create a new address, and the snapshot amount will be transferred to this treasury address via smart contract.

Expected Timeline
CEX first-batch swaps: expected to be completed within 1–5 business days, depending on CEX response time.
CEX additional compensation: timeline depends on the recovery of stablecoins.
On-chain redemption tool: development and launch are expected within 5 business days.

Other Compensation Plans
Most of the stolen, unlocked UXLINK tokens have been suspended. We are aware that some of these tokens are still being traded. A separate compensation plan will be provided for affected users.
UXLINK is actively working to recover assets that the hacker sold through DEXs, cross-chain bridges, and CEXs. Based on the recovery progress, UXLINK will provide compensation schemes for the community — including CEX users — which may include but are not limited to: buyback programs, staking rewards/benefits, trading incentives.
