Algorand (ALGO) will facilitate bank and insurance guarantees platform in Italy
Algorand, a Layer-1 blockchain platform, has been chosen as the public blockchain to support the digital guarantees platform to be used in Italy’s banking and insurance markets. The platform is being developed by the Research Center on Technologies, Innovation and Finance of the Catholic University of Milanand is expected to launch in early 2023.

Amber Group, a Singapore-based crypto lender, has closed its $300M funding round. The investment was led by Fenbushi Capital US, alongside other undisclosed crypto-native investors and family offices.
